This is a delightful story for any youngster. It teaches multiple lessons within one book. First, being love as one of the fruits of the spirit. It also teaches what to do in case you get lost. The conflict/resolution is perfect for the age of children this book is written for. Finally, the illustrations are beautifully done and engaging for young children.

As an additional bonus, there are Questions and Answers as well as Llama facts in the back of the book.

I'm very impressed with this author and this book.

The illustrations in this book were really cute. The best part about this book was at the end. It included questions to apply the lessons learned. It also included a list of the fruits of the spirit and the Bible verse. Overall this was cute.

This was a cute little story about Love being a Fruit of the Spirit. The Bible isn't bashed over your head in the story itself, which is nice. But they do have some good follow up questions at the end to start discussions about how to show love and the examples in the story.

This book is really cute and great for children learning about love. My audience was a little too young for it but loved the images that are bright and big. Not too much text per page so easy to read.
Love the extra questions and facts at the end of the book.

Thank you, NetGalley for allowing me to review this book.
Larry the llama is supposed to watch over the baby animals on a farm, but after a thunderstorm knocks down the fence he wanders off. He is followed by Lily the lamb.

Do they get lost?

Yes, they do but they have an idea that will solve the dilemma.

As for the illustrations, they are rather nice but differ from the cover of the book.

At the end of the book, there are questions and Llama facts. I found that awesome. It is a good way to help the child remember books (if they are older).

There is some religious background to this book, which I did not mind because it is not "in your face". Not a bad book, it teaches one about love and what someone will do for their loved ones.

I really enjoyed this sweet book about a llama and his job on the farm he works at. The story was very simple and not particularly unique but I honestly think that works perfectly when you’re trying to teach kids a message and want that to be the focus vs the story line. The characters in the story didn’t always act perfectly but they showed humility and love for one another and I liked that there was also a lesson in there about the smartest thing to do when you are lost. The discuss questions at the end were a wonderful touch as well, would be great for preschools or church Sunday schools!

Little Larry Llama had a heart full of love, he loved helping others in need, so of course, he took a job to do just that. A delightful-fun-loving story that would captivate both parent and child, it’s funny, enchanting, and cute.

Larry the Llama is in charge of the baby animals on a farm. When he makes a mistake and Lily the lamb follows him they both end up getting lost. The story is a simple and visual way of showing children when they make a mistake they are still loved and also to stay in one place when lost so that their 'parents' can find them.

The illustrations are engaging and the author has included some questions at the back to explore with your child as well as some facts about Llamas.

I love having biblical principles in the stories I read to my child, and this was a great one. I loved the lessons and the adorable illustrations. My almost 3 year old son loved the animals and asked to read this book multiple times.

Okay, I love llamas just about as much as I adore sloths, so I was here for this one. More than that, this sort of alliteration is most children’s tongue twisting dreams, and has them laughing hysterically. Larry the Llama is excited about his new job helping the farmer love on and take care of all of the baby animals on the farm. Larry’s job was to scare bad animals away, to keep the little ones safe. One day, Larry gets the urge to go beyond the fence of the farm and explore, though, much to his dismay, little Lily the Llama is tagging along with him. While he knows he should take care of her and bring her back to the farm, his curiosity and desire to explore gets the best of him, and he keeps on keeping on. Unfortunately, both Larry and Lily end up getting lost – they don’t know where home is. Eventually, the two are rescued when they cry loudly for help, and the farmer is overjoyed and crying tears of happiness to find his lost llamas. Not only do they make it home, but they realize that the farmer loved them deeply and more than anything else. A fantastic story about the meaning of home, getting lost, doing our jobs, and – at the end of the day – the fact that our parents and those who take care of us will always have love that outweighs disappointment.

Larry the llama is a sweet conscientious little guy who lands his first job at a farm. He is asked to guard the baby animals and frighten away any big bad animals that might lurk around and want to harm them. Larry is happy to assume the role of guardian and he hopes the farmer will love him.

A huge thunderstorm rolls in one day and all the animals take shelter in the barn where they are protected. After the storm and everyone exits Larry discovers that the fence has blown down. His curiosity gets the best of him and he decides to explore outside the fence.

Lily, an adorable little lamb, decides to follow in his tracks and they both become lost and can't find their way back to the safety of their farm.

Oh my! Will the farmer notice they are missing and come and rescue them and bring them home? Larry wonders if that happens, and he hopes it will, will the farmer still love him?

The illustrations are lovely and full of heart and expression. The author has included Story Questions and Answers, ten things to know about llamas, and lists the fruits of the Spirit from Galatians 5:22-23a from the Bible, at the back of the book. I love that she did.

This heartwarming story is about humility, caring for one another, friendship, love and doing the right thing. Both young and old will enjoy this book with its positive message. I highly recommend it!

This picture book tells the story of Larry the Llama who is in charge to guarding the baby animals at the farm by watching for and scaring away bad guys. After a big storm, Larry notices the fence has been blown over and he decides to go explore, and a little lamb, Lily goes with him. They soon get lost and Larry worries the farmer will be upset and wont love him anymore. While connecting with bible stories, this book sends messages that all children can understand and benefit from. It is a sweet story about love and caring for one another and the idea that mistakes happen, we just need to learn from them and move on. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Despite Larry telling Lucy not to follow him and both end up getting lost. When they get lost, they decide to stay where they are and make noise until the Farmer finds them. I love everything about Larry the Llama Learns About Love--it is reminiscent of Christ love for us. The book has beautiful pictures that complement the story well.
