Closing In

This is my first read by author E.D. Thompson and it was a good read. The blurb reads

"Caroline has a good life - a job she likes, a daughter she'd do anything for. In the midst of the Christmas rush, covering events and parties, the local journalist is looking forward to the holidays and having some quality time with the ones she loves.

I enjoyed the character of Caroline and really felt like I got to know her, as much as you can when its fiction. This was a good and twisty read and I enjoyed the authors writing. I felt like the author really wanted to engage with the audience and I feel that this was achieved.
