Very moving letters and poems! I liked most of them, the passion and intensity of the writer comes across very clearly, and for the most part he's avoided exaggerated and flowery wording. I'm fond of love letters myself but not so much of poetry, so the predominance of the former over the latter was a boon to me, and I would recommend this to fellow readers that like letters more, too. A touching little collection!

I loved this beautifully written poetry book. Its so beautiful and lovely. To me this is a book that the author has written to his love of his life. The letters written brings tears to your eyes, its that beautiful. After the letters are the poems he has written for her. The poetry will also make you cry. Its that beautiful! I cannot wait to read more of the authors books. I am hooked on this author now. Its a fast must read book.

Thank you Netgalley & the publisher for the advanced copy of this book.

'Emotions overflowing
a deluge of my passion.'...
is a completey accurate description of this collection.

'You're the girl with stories in her eyes,
I'm the boy who can't close the book.'
I found some enchanting lines I really really liked in this collection (highlight worthy) and at times got incredibly swept up in the romance.

But I also felt like the collection was too long, at times repetitive and could have been condensed / more thoroughly selected. Love poems are beautiful, but in small doses.

But overall I'm a sucker for passion so this gets 4 celestial sky stars.
'Touch me the way the sun reaches across the horizon.'

The book begins with love letters that tell of a secret admiration that slowly turns into unrequited love. The letters eventually turn into poems. Both are areas this author excels.

I don’t know that I have ever read so many works by the same man that all have that theme of love. Love that isn’t reciprocated. Love that comes at the wrong time or place, so many types of love this man speaks of.

These poems and letters are a letter into a soul. Someone pouring out their heart to an audience that may or may not feel the same. That is very brave. I’m not sure I can ever be that vulnerable. And that is what this is. One man, baring his heart and soul and not caring about how it is received, just feeling that pull to put it all down in a letter. Then send it off to an unknown reception.

This is the poetry that makes you feel. You can feel the love, the pain, and the uncertainty that the author felt. It is a very powerful feeling. I am not an expert in poetry and you don’t have to be to read this. If you have ever been in love you will instantly connect with this collection.

It seems appropriate that this book debuts on Valentine’s Day.

Okay, so yes, I requested this book because of the title. I’m that shallow! Lol
I’m pleased I did. It is such a beautiful collection of love letters and poems.

There is so much emotion in every line, I didn’t think it was possible.
I felt like I was being given an insight into the authors soul. The honesty and vulnerability is beautiful and rare. The joy of finding love, the heartache of it being unrequited, everything feels personal and raw. I adored reading this.

“Flee from me, my dear, so that I may pursue you into forever!”

I mean, that line is absolutely stunning. How can you not want, no, NEED to read more?!
I highlighted many more lines, but that is one of my favourites.

Felix has a gift with words

I’m not saying it’s repetitive, but some things are mentioned a few times eg: when talking about the eyes, so I would personally recommend picking it up and reading sporadically or when your heart calls for it.

Thank you, NetGalley and BooksGoSocial, for the eAc. This is my honest review.
