Description

One summer internship. Two complete opposites. A connection neither expected . . .

Annalise Sherwood has worked herself to the bone to win a place on a prestigious internship, and nothing is going to stop her now. Work hard, play later - that's her motto. She figures one night out before she starts the programme can't hurt, though - especially when it ends with the best kiss of her life.

But to Anna's horror, the mystery guy she kissed that night is none other than Lloyd, the boss's son. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he's everyone's favourite guy and a total charmer, swanning around like he owns the place. And from the moment they meet again, he rubs Anna up the wrong way.

As the summer - and the internship - progresses, Lloyd seems to be finding any excuse to annoy Anna, and she's not afraid to dish it right back. But when a lot of late night working brings them unexpectedly closer, she begins to wonder if romance might be on the agenda after all . . .

Brimming with wit and chemistry, this brand-new, page-turning romance from Beth Reekles is perfect for fans of Beth O'Leary's The Flatshare and Emily Henry's Beach Read.

Sincerely Yours, was the book i didn't know i needed.
Anna is a university student embarking on her summer internship, Lloyd is the golden boy who turns her summer upside down.
This feel good romance shows strength in friendships, the power of motivation and how envy and greed can tear apart everything.

I read this book in one sitting. The writing was heartfelt and beautiful. I need to now go find every other book by this author to devour.

Sincerely yours, Anna Sherwood was a roller coaster ride of amazing heart-warming ups and bitter downs. The book takes place in London following Anna for the summer as she interns at Arrowmile, a huge corporation that makes eco friendly scooters and vehicles. On Anna’s first night, her and some interns go to the pub. There she meets Lloyd (muscle zaddy btw) and a connection is instantly formed. Following these characters as they figure out how to make their love work was the wholesome fast read I needed. Between the conversations of true love and the (non) dates this office romance book is absolute endearing. I fell for the characters and understood their struggles as though I was with them. Four star read and deserves to be read by college kids looking for a nice escape into a world of banter, bliss, and bangs.

The story follows Anna who has earned one of 15 places on a prestigious summer internship following her first year of uni. On the first weekend settling in all of the interns go out as an icebreaker before the internship starts where she meets Lloyd and the two have an intimate connection, sharing secrets and a kiss only to part ways thinking they would never see each other again. Things don’t go to plan however when on the first day in her new role Anna find out that Lloyd is actually the CEO’s son.
The book follows her journey over the 12 week internship, working hard to show she deserves a place at the company whilst also trying to ignore her connection with Lloyd and failing.
A great book that kept me engaged throughout showing the difficulty of finding a place in the world between work, love and family.

I couldn’t put it down, it devoured me as much as I devoured it. As someone who has just recently graduated university it hit right at home that the main character is in uni, and going through all those important life decisions that I have had to go through. I loved the romance at work aspect, and how it wasn’t straightforward and easy. I wish the “drama” between Anna and Tasha could’ve been a bit more, it was solved way too quickly after it began in my opinion. But as a total I recommend this book, and will definitely be reading more of Reekles’ books in the future!

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC. I loved this book! This is a lovely easy read that is based on Anna, a first year uni student, who is just starting a 3-month internship. The night before the internship she meets Lloyd who just so happens to be the boss’s son. With Anna being so career focused and Lloyd being the office golden boy will their connection grow stronger or fall apart? The book really highlights the struggles during the transition from childhood to adulthood, as well as the pressure that society places on us to be ambitious and not having that work life balance.

A romance novel full of the typical tropes. As always a great book by Beth - Highly recommend for those rom-com lovers!
