While she heals, her mum and dad care for her emotional as well as physical needs, taking her for long walks in a pram so that she can enjoy the countryside and time with her family. Thanks to the love and support of her family and farmyard community, Molly is soon on the mend!

Told in simple language from Molly's doggy point of view, the story is inspirational, inviting readers to look for hope and joy in life's darkest times. Realistic digital illustrations combine soft pastels with pops of bright color, adding to the uplifting mood. At the end of the story, a post-script tells the story of the real-life Molly and her family, together with photographs taken at the time of the accident and recovery.
