Description

“Beers delivers a tense cat-and-mouse game between a determined fire investigator and a wily arsonist. You won’t want to miss this suspense-filled tale!” –Pamela Beason, award-winning author of the Sam Westin Wilderness Mysteries

Carole T. Beers, an avid reader, adventurer, and award-winning author, grew up in the Pacific Northwest, studied in England with the Peace-Corps relative Experiment in International Living, and earned a B.A. in Journalism before writing for the Pulitzer-winning Seattle Times for 32 years. She mentored Indigenous youth, taught writing at an Asian school and worked in public relations. Along the way she earned a private pilot's license, an NRA sharpshooter rating, and national horse-show honors. Today she still rides her horse, gardens sporadically, and writes mystery novels-enjoying an active "retirement" in beautiful southern Oregon.
