Description
Miss Sorenson’s fifth-grade class at Green Hill Academy is going to make a movie… a mummy movie! Brilliant but awkward Bernard Gawain is thrilled his crush, Bridget Matsumoto, has been cast as the leading lady, and he will be playing her hero. But this dream come true unravels when his domineering mother becomes the class substitute teacher and the film's tyrannical director.
A Note From the Publisher2>
"The Curse of the Crummy Mummy" is Book Two in the Green Hill Academy Chronicles. Book One is "Six Thousand Doughnuts" (June 2021) by Thomas Tosi and illustrated by Meaghan Tosi.
Each book in the Green Hill Academy Chronicles includes seventy–eighty hand-drawn illustrations. Each book is a STAND-ALONE story and features first-person narration from a different member of Miss Sorenson's Green Hill Academy fifth-grade classroom. The chronology of the books overlaps slightly such that there is a "baton pass" of the story. A minor character in Book One becomes the main character in Book Two.
