Relatively Strange

It’s hard to know what’s normal, if you’re not, and it takes Stella a while to realise she’s in the definitely ‘not’ drawer. Isn’t it a fact though that just when you think you’ve got yourself sorted, life turns round and bites you? Relatively Strange introduces a protagonist whose irreverent sense of humour, conviction she always knows best and inability to keep her mouth shut, will strike a chord with like-minded readers everywhere. Marilyn has been inspired by a number of authors, including Stephen King, Susan Hill and John Connolly.

"I was intrigued by the synopsis for this book, and wasn't disappointed.

The story is fantasy, but so firmly based in reality that you can almost believe its real.

The characters are very well painted, and emerge more and more as you read - some of them I didn't like much to begin with, but by the end I loved them (well, nearly all!)

The story has twists and turns galore, and keeps you guessing (and reading) so that I somehow managed to finish the book in about 3 days! It truly was un-put-down-able!
