Very excited for this beautiful beautiful beautifully crafted book of photography. I feel while we advanced with technology quite a bit we’ve also lost the art of it with the least phones etc and this brings us back to the art of it. Beyond excited to share this one with readers
4.5 stars
I have not come across any photography books like this, focusing on self portraiture, and offering creative and imaginative advice and tips.
I often forget about ISO and other technicalities when I leave a huge gap between my photography phases. After that part, the book started to get more interesting with both technical information and creative inspiration.
A much needed niche book.
I highly recommend this book. Photography has been a very male preserve for a long time. It has always been hard to find good books on photography that are not aimed at the male reader - full of glamour shots and trains. This is a good solid "how to" book which as it says takes an amateur photographer beyond the selfie. Clear advice and instruction, lots of full colour examples, and hundreds of ideas to take your photos to the next level. The book is not dumbed down, but also not full of jargon.
