"""A fun romp through history back to the 1930s amid the vivacious NYC jazz era
I was deeply immersed in NYC’s jazz scene and the elegance, language, and culture of the 1930s, learning much about the era through small details and author’s notes. On top of that, its a great plot-twister and would make an excellent film or series."""

This was a really well done mystery novel, it had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed from this type of book. The characters were everything that I was looking for and enjoyed figuring out what was happening. I was invested in what was happening with K. L. Hallam's writing and glad I got to read this.
