Harry and Suzie are back in this follow up to 100 Proposals. This time around the happy couple are tasked with finding 100 romantic spots to propose in London….in December. Not an easy task for the pair, who are already worked up about an upcoming in-law visit. The stress continues to build and Harry and Suzie find themselves questioning their own happiness.
A delightful, frothy confection sure to soothe away the readers stress during the holiday season.
One Hundred Christmas Proposals, Holly Martin Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews I loved One Hundred Proposals and was wary of this follow up. So often I find the magic has gone, the couple are together and really the story is over, and I’m disappointed, but...not here! Its another funny, magical read, full of fascinating, imaginative proposals. Holly makes it all feel so real, I can “see” the settings. I read Kat and Stone Bastions series recently, where there’s an events company which do incredible, unusual parties and innovative cakes, and there’s a similarity in that both books are able to take me out of the real world, and into one they’ve created. That what I want from a read, to lose myself for a few hours. Harry is just so adorable, so deeply in love with Suzie and I was so happy when it finally worked out for him. Now its December, they’ve been together for six ( I think) months and Suzie wants to talk about their wedding – but Harry seems reluctant to get into dates and details, only talking in the abstract. The December proposals are keeping them busy, and once again they sound so perfect, and I love Harry’s blogs about them. Snow on Christmas day – I’d love that, somehow it never seems right to have bright, sunny days or grey, rainy ones – it needs to be bright, crisp snow! I wish...happens every now and then :-) Its not hard to work out what's going on, but that doesn’t spoil it, it’s like being a participant in the secret. Suzie's mum is a real horror story, but her dad is lovely and even her mum seems to get into the Christmas spirit eventually. Stars: Five, its a great read once again, and perfect for Christmas reading.

And Holly Martin did it again! I haven’t read 100 Proposals #1 (shame on me!), but that didn’t stop me from enjoying this festive read. I absolutely adore Ms. Martin’s unique style of writing and this novella was truly such a delightful read.
Suzie and Harry are together for what seems like an eternity. They run a successful business, providing help with marriage proposals. Their love for each other knows no limits. But Suzie starts having second thoughts. The big proposal seems very far away, and seems like Harry is having some secrets. He starts disappearing and making some secret phone calls. Is he having an affair?
Suzie and Harry’s story is very romantic and beautiful, for a hopeless romantic like me it was just perfect. They love each other very much, but there is trouble even in paradise. Can Harry keep Suzie’s love while keeping secrets from her?
With Christmas around the corner, people, especially the ones hopelessly in love, plan popping up the big question to their partners. And OneHundredProposals.com is there to help them. There are many Christmas themed proposals that will restore your faith in love, if you’ve ever lost it. Each proposal is so unique, and so full of love. Nothing is more important than the sparkles in your loved one’s eyes when they are looking at you and see the person who want’s to spend the lifetime with them.
One character I didn’t like, was Suzie’s mother. The woman suffers because she has lost her son, and is emotionally shattered, but that doesn’t give her right to treat people around her like that. And why is everyone so afraid of her?
Love, hate, Christmas and magic. This adorable festive read has it all. Adorable characters, unique romantic proposals, and lots of happy endings. Holly Martin did it again. Totally recommended for every time of the year, not just Christmas. Enjoy!
My rating: 9/10

A really enjoyable Christmassy read that is well worth the money. It did not take me long to read as I really got glued to the storyline. I really enjoyed the writing, the author had made a great job of making the novel something really light-hearted and festive. I know this book is the second in the series but to be honest it does really well as a standalone.
I love this author, and I loved her book One Hundred Proposals, and was really looking forward to reading the sequel. She didn't disappoint! You have to read One Hundred Proposals first as it introduces us to all of the characters and their story.
Being able to catch up with the characters I fell in love with was like switching on my TV and seeing my favourite characters back in my favourite show. And even though, I must admit, I caught on pretty quickly to what was going to happen, it certainly didn't disappoint me in any way. A must read for fans of this author, and a must read for fans of simple love stories with a twist!

A delicious Christmas-themed follow-up to One Hundred Proposals, which was my favourite chick lit novel this year. For a novella it was just the right length, with just enough happening. Even though I guessed pretty much from the start what Harry's Christmas present was going to be, I didn't care, although I wanted to see if I was right. I wanted to smack Suzie's mother, though, and her dad was very astute. Having to hide Badger in the pantry made me laugh, as I'm sure we've all been there for various reasons (not in the pantry!) There are a couple of big pieces of news too which only add to the general glow of this quick little read. Would definitely recommend. 4.5 stars from me. Look forward to the next book

It's Christmas in snowy London, and PerfectProposal.com (Harry and Suze's business) have promised to carry out one hundred proposals over the Christmas period. This is a difficult task, made even more tricky by Suze's parents visiting and Harry and Suze trying to organise their own wedding. As things start to pile up, and Harry begins acting suspiciously, Suze is left wondering if everything is perfect in their relationship after all.
I really enjoyed this book. I was a little disappointed that it's a novella, rather than a full length book, as I felt it definitely could have been a full length book. As a result, everything felt a little rushed and stuff wasn't expanded on as much as I would have liked. As a result of this, when Harry begins acting suspiciously, there wasn't enough time for much speculation and I guessed almost immediately what he was up to. That aside, taken as a novella, this really is very enjoyable. I'm glad that Harry and Suze's story got expanded on, as I felt it definitely needed to be at the end of "One Hundred Proposals". This was a great sequel to the first book, and hopefully not the conclusion, as there is definitely more of the story to tell in my opinion. I wouldn't have said this book is as good as the first one, but it was lovely reading how Harry and Suze's relationship had developed and how in love they were. The Christmas theme of it worked well too, and didn't feel in any way contrived. Really my only wish about this book is that it was a full length novel, but I would still recommend it.

Having really enjoyed One Hundred Proposals I was looking forward to reading this. I would definitely read that first if you haven't. It was lovely to catch up with Harry and Suze and I enjoy reading some more fantastic ways to propose to your loved ones. Short and sweet perfect read to pick up when you have some spare minutes during the festive season. Hope this is not the last we have seen of this pair.

This is a really cute follow up to One Hundred Proposals which I haven't read but it didn't really bother me as there was enough in the story to get the drift if you'd read the blurb for the first one.
Six months down the track Harry and Suzie are still madly in love, lust and still romantically attached to the whole proposals thing. Why else would they be doing another hundred proposals in December.
We get a taste of some of those proposals as Harry blogs about them. But the real story is in how Harry and Suzie's relationship is developing. Suzie is worried because after all the excitement of the proposal and engagement, Harry is a bit hard to pin down on the actual wedding thing. They may have bitten off a bit more than they can chew with this 100 Christmas proposals because Harry is running around like a mad chook, unwilling to commit himself to anything until the festive season is over.
I didn't meet Suzie's parents in the first book but the abject terror in the reactions of everyone concerned when Harry announces they are coming for the New Year suggest the mother from Hell...so we have that thrown into the mix along with Suzie's sister-in-law and her relationship.
This wasn't a long read and is very sweet with a well drawn cast of characters. I did have trouble visualizing everyone but that may be because it was done thoroughly in the first book...but their characters shone.
