In this enchanting novel, English couple, Peter and Sarina are trying to adjust to life on a small Greek island. They are being strangled by the endless beaurocracy that stems from trying to start a business. Apollo and Hortensia are donkeys, with a cruel and overbearing owner, but that won’t stop them from airing their opinions about what happens on the island. Told from both the human and the donkey perspective, this is a lovely little story that will have readers wanting a donkey of their own
