Description
One best friend's wedding.
One predicted love match.
And no way of guessing how the story will end . . .
Anna was never going to have an easy time at her best friend’s wedding. She’s the bridesmaid; her ex, Joel, is a groomsman. But she’s determined to get through the weekend with a smile. Despite the fact that Joel is bringing his new girlfriend. Despite the fact that they are all staying in the same house. And despite the fact that at thirty, Anna’s life is, objectively, not going to plan. Luckily she has her feelings completely under control – right up until the moment Joel drops a bombshell that changes everything.
Anna needs a distraction, and Patrick, the wedding photographer, might be the ideal solution. After all, a psychic literally predicted she would fall in love with a man named Patrick. Everyone has decided he is perfect for her. He is perfect for her.
Except the arrival of Mac, a not-quite-famous actor who has flown in from New York, complicates Anna’s plotting. And she must accept that when it comes to love, destiny doesn't always follow the rules . . .
The feel-good, joyful rom-com of the summer, perfect for readers of Emily Henry, Mhairi McFarlane and Beth O'Leary.

reading about anna and mac was such a pleasure and their chemistry was truly 🔛 🔝 they were flirty, they were vulnerable, they were adorable and well i was curios about how their story could have ended and it didn’t disappoint me ☺️
this book’s perfect if u are in the mood for something short n’ sweet (😁) but also refreshing because for me as i said before it was so unexpected to ending up reading this one is such a short time because of my curiosity about how the story would develop and so
if u are in the mood for a GOOD romcom just go for this one without thinking much because it will most likely surprise u trust me :)
a lot of thanks to netgalley and aria & aries team for sending me this lovely e-arc in exchange for my honest opinion!

This is romantic comedy at it's best. I laughed the whole way through this story. It really brightened my day and I could not put it down. Anna is at her best friend's wedding but she is not having the best of time as her ex is the groomsman and he has brought along his new girlfriend. Anna has to get along with them all, just for one day as she keeps reminding herself. Then Joel tells her something that she never thought she would hear and it is not good. Patrick is the wedding photographer and Anna knows that this is the only way she can forget the news she has just heard. But then another man is thrown into the mix and Anna has never been more confused in her life. It was a brilliantly funny romantic comedy that will leave you in stitches and I cannot wait to read more of Nina's books.

Super cute and an enjoyable read from the start. I loved Anna as soon as we met her and then loved Mac straight away too. An excellent mix of cute, funny, heartfelt and hot.

I couldn't put this down! Such a great rom-com and a lovely ending that made my day. Gave me Bridget Jones vibes. Definitely one of my favourite books I've read this year.

The Wedding Forcast is a heartwarming, funny, romantic and moving read. I really enjoyed Anna and Mac as characters and their family and friends. I hope there’s a sequel one day. Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the chance to read an ARC.

When Anna and her ex are both part of the bridal party at their friends' wedding, Anna is determined to still enjoy the day. Enter Patrick, the wedding photographer, and Mac, one of the groom's best friends. Will Anna's heart and head agree on which person she should fall for?
The Wedding Forecast was a fantastic, feel good read and has been a perfect companion during the night feeds with my 4 month old. It is a story full of heart and hope. It also helps that a love of books and book shops comes through too! The chemistry between the characters was beautifully created. The protagonist, Anna, was likeable and incredibly relatable. I found myself engrossed in the novel and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the characters and witness their relationships with one another. This book would make a wonderful summer read so be sure to add it to your TBR!
Thank you to Aria & Aries, Nina Kenwood and Netgalley for this e ARC.

The Wedding Forecast
For Anna being a bridesmaid for her best friend Hayley is going to be a trial. Her ex Joel is a groomsman as best friend of the groom he is also bringing his new girlfriend and they have news that devastates Anna.
Hoping she can get through the wedding without breaking down she meets Max another great friend of the groom, he is a not so famous actor now living in New York. They have a couple of moments at the wedding where their mutual attraction leads to some intense moments.
Max returns to New York and when Hayley invites Anna to join her on a work trip to New York they make arrangements to meet up with Max, with Anna and Max giving in to their feelings but knowing a long distance relationship just wouldn’t work Anna returns home to Melbourne.
Having written one novel Anna starts another, changes her job and starts getting on with her life now over Joel but still missing Max.
It’s good to follow Anna as she heals and puts her future first, with some amusing moments this is an enjoyable read with a lovely if rather abrupt finale. I would of loved an epilogue to see into her future happiness.
My thanks to net galley and publisher for the opportunity to review this book honestly.

I enjoyed this book and read it pretty much in one sitting. It was well paced and well written. The characters were well developed and the romance felt realistic. My only issue is that it ended too abruptly. I would have liked to have seen more lasting resolution, perhaps with an epilogue or another chapter then followed by an epilogue set a year or so later.
If you’re looking for a quick, fun read I’d recommend picking this up.
Thanks to Netgalley and Aria & Aries for the e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Awesome romcom that hit all the right notes and even had some depth. Anna and Joel dated for 6 years and now she has to face him at her best friends wedding ...with his new girlfriend. Anna is funny and courageous and determined to be the best bridesmaid ever. She is going to get through this. And maybe she can also have some fun - in between all the complex emotions. There are a few interesting contenders for Anna's attention at the wedding. Her choice would lead to two very different paths.
I loved the injection of humour - I don't often laugh out loud when reading - and the characters felt quite real. I enjoyed the involvement of the mother's, who often get ignored in this kind of story. It created a family environment and back-story that is often ignored. There were some great introspective moments - where Anna has to decide what will make her happy and what kind of compromises accompany that. I appreciated that not every love story is rainbows and sunshine. Overall, I really enjoyed this.

4.25⭐️. I absolutely binged this book - it’s not reinventing the wheel in any way but something about it just had me hooked from the start. Anna was a really likeable FMC - she’s in a very vulnerable place at the start of the book, attending her best friend’s wedding as the maid of honour, where her ex of 8 years, who she split with 4 months ago, is also attending as the best man (and with his new girlfriend). While in the depths of post-breakup sadness, she’s persuaded by the mums (hers and her best friend, Hayley’s) to pay $30 to a psychic who will then email her the name of her soulmate. His name is Patrick and she’s told that she’ll meet him within the next 6 months. Time is running out but, as fate would have it, the wedding photographer is a single man named Patrick. However, there’s also the matter of the other groomsman, Mac, who’s over from America for the wedding. However, while there is an element of love triangle, I had a clear favourite from the beginning!
The romance starts off quite insta-lovey, which usually wouldn’t be my thing, but I really enjoyed seeing the relationship develop throughout the course of the book. There were lots of moments, particularly with Anna and Hayley’s mums, that had me chuckling, and the side characters were really prominent in this book, which gave strong found (& actual) family vibes. Alongside her day job, Anna is also an author, and that added another interesting element to the plot. And while it was single POV, which again wouldn’t usually be my favourite for a romance, it really worked for this story because it meant that we felt all of Anna’s uncertainty as she navigated her life post-breakup and re-entered the dating scene.
Overall, a really fun romcom that also felt like it had some depth. Would 100% recommend to readers of this genre.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the e-ARC of this book.

I've been so hyped about this book ever since it first became popular on Australian bookstagram, and I was so happy to see it was being published in the UK! This was a solid four-star romance for me – I liked the writing, I liked the relationships, I liked the way Nina Kenwood writes about being at a crossroads in your early 30s. But I personally prefer a romance without as many side characters and side plots – unless they're really memorable, which they weren't in this case – so although I enjoyed it and would read more by the author, I wouldn't call it a new fave. Also, I feel like putting 'wedding' in the title shouldn't be allowed when more than half of the book doesn't take place at a wedding, lol.

Anna is bridesmaid, Joel her ex is groomsman. He is also bringing his new partner to the wedding. Then Joel drops bombshell that shakes Anna and throws of her mantra of smile through it for the wedding.
Patrick is the wedding photographer that could distract Anna, not just because a psychic told her she would fall for a man named Patrick!
But the other member of the wedding party, Mac, is having all sorts of effects on Anna.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for this ARC in return for my honest review.

This was a great rom com full of likeable and authentic characters with plenty of interesting storylines along the way. The wedding that poor Anna had to attend as bridesmaid, with her ex as a groomsman was enough to cause anyone to cringe, let alone adding in interfering mothers and the discovery that her ex's new partner was pregnant. I really felt for Anna! Mac was a great character and seeing their friendship/relationship develop was fab. I loved the trip to New York, the fact that Mac was a tv star, the side line of Anna changing her career. It was all well written, entertaining and very pleasing to read- would recommend.

As chief bridesmaid for her best friend, Anna cannot escape the wedding or the presence of her ex.,- the Best man . She meets Mac, a groomsman, and her life begins to change. Enthralling reading, perfect for lazy summer days.

This was my first book by Nina Kenwood, and what a pleasant surprise. I'll be on the look for more of her adult books.
I really enjoyed reading The Wedding Forecast. Such a light, fun and at the same time deep romcom. I actually wanted to get to the end of the book to know what was going to happen to Anna. The moms were so funny. The ending surprised me, I wouldn't change it though :).

I absolutely loved the book. The tension between Anna and Mac was so well written and I also really liked the different parts of the book as it felt perfect everytime when the time changed.
Might be the best book i have read in 2025 so far.

A good story full of emotion and laughter as you go along. Predictable ending as with most in the genre but still worth the will they won't they journey.

Anna's best friend, Hayley is marrying Luke and Anna is very happy about this. What she's not so happy about is the fact that over the wedding weekend she'll be sharing a house not only with Hayley and Luke, but also Anna's ex, Joel, his new girlfriend and Luke's actor friend Mac who will be flying over from the US. The whole weekend throws out a roller coaster of emotion for Anna, not helped by Hayley's and Anna's mothers, Bobbi and Wendy. And then there's Patrick!
There were so many things to like about this book: the story, the well painted characters, the bookshop, to mention three. in three parts, the book keeps you guessing to the end. As it takes place over a longer period of time than a lot of romance stories, everything seems more plausible. The introduction of the Bobbi and Wendy lifts the book and much of the lighter moments come from the interplay between these two and the other characters.
A light hearted book, yet one which touches on some more serious topics in a sensitive way. Thoroughly recommended

Excellent story - it builds and builds and I loved reading it. I particularly enjoyed how it differed from a typical romance.

I am very very picky when it comes to romance reads but i had heard some great things from friends in Australia about this one which made me want to pick it up and i am so glad i did ! I have never been disappointed with Aus lit so i sort of felt i was in safe hands here !
It's perfect to binge over a weekend , i was invested after a few pages . I loved Anna, she was smart and funny yet had some insecurities (which we all do !). There was also such a great cast of side characters which for me made the enjoyment of the book so much more as i love stories around friendships and family dynamics .
The writing is good , the vibes are big and it's just one that you can't help but enjoy !

I really enjoyed this. From the outset you want to protect the main character and really feel for her in the situation she’s in. It’s a great holiday read with plenty of sunshine, travel and romance and adventures!

Just the rom-com pick me up I needed! This read was heartwarming, funny and just overall really enjoyable! I love both main characters aswell as side characters of friends and family!

First of all thank you for approving my request!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The authors writing style had me hooked throughout this book.
I didn't want it to end, a book I really couldn't put down.

An enjoyable and well written light romance, with some unusual features. It is not easy for her to attend her friends’, Luke and Hayley’s, wedding, as her ex, Joel will be staying in the same house with his new partner, Bianca. To make matters worse, Joel has some news that shocks her to the core, reawakening the pain of their breakup. When “the mums” arrive with a “forecast” that Anna’s new love interest will be called Patrick, it’s inevitable that her attention is drawn to the wedding photographer of that name. Yet destiny throws a fly in the ointment with her unexpected attraction to another wedding guest, Mac. This relationship, however, has no future as they live on different continents. Although Anna hopes that her heart will step in line with her reason, love is not like that. The characters are well drawn and believable, with no total villains nor heroes, just very human people trying their best. The “mums” add an element of humour, which daughters with “concerned” mothers will recognise. I enjoyed the strong bonds of friendships portrayed. Definitely recommended.

This was the first book I’d read by Nina Kenwood and I throughly enjoyed it. It’s a rom-com set in Australia, where Anna has to attend the wedding of her best friend, with her ex Joel present and his new girlfriend. This book was funny, awkward and cute all in one. I really enjoyed how the FMC was a writer and an avid reader cause when is the reader ever a main character! I enjoyed the romance and the tension between Anna and Mac.
Thank you to NetGalley for the digital copy. This is my honest review.

Anna is getting over the end of an 8 year relationship and is about to spend the weekend at her best friend's wedding. The catch is that her ex and his new girlfriend will be there.
Her mum and the mum of her best friend have been told by a psychic that the love of her life is called Patrick and she will meet him within 6 months so time is running out for this prediction. The wedding photographer is called Patrick so they are keen to see if he is the one.
Mac, an actor, is the best friend of mine groom and comes back from the USA to attend the wedding.
A fun story of the following year and the ups and downs of Anna's life.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the ARC.

Thanks netgalley for the arc! This was my first book I’d read by Nina Kenwood and it was so cute i really enjoyed reading it.
At first all the different names was a bit confusing for me. But besides that the story is cute, funnny and i liked it that the FMC was a writer.
