Description
Adam Stenson has spent his whole life feeling small—physically, emotionally, mentally. When his fiancé’s affection starts to feel out of reach and his confidence crumbles under the weight of self-doubt, he turns to the one thing that promises power: steroids.
What starts as a simple attempt to bulk up spirals into an obsession. The gym becomes his temple, the mirror his judge. Each injection pushes him further, and soon, the person staring back at him is no longer the man he used to be—but is he any closer to the man he wants to be?
As his body grows, so does the rage, the paranoia, the insatiable hunger for more. Friendships strain, his relationship with Sara begins to crack, and the side effects of his choices refuse to be ignored. But by the time Adam realizes he’s in too deep, it might already be too late.
From Chris Levine, the writer, producer, and star of the critically acclaimed Hollywood film Anabolic Life, Most Muscular returns to the raw, unfiltered vision of the original story—an unflinching look at the dark side of body obsession, the cost of validation, and the fine line between self-improvement and self-destruction.

Most Muscular is a raw psychological thriller that explores one man’s downward spiral in his desperate search for control and validation. Adam’s story is uncomfortable at times—in the best way—because it forces you to confront the darker side of self-image and identity. I found myself torn between frustration and sympathy for him, which made the whole experience even more powerful. It’s intense, gritty, and really made me think about how far someone might go just to feel “enough.”

This book punched me in the gut—and then flexed about it. 💥💉 Most Muscular is like watching a slow-motion car crash made of testosterone, heartbreak, and rage, and I could NOT look away. Adam's a hot mess on a needle drip, chasing muscle and meaning, and let me tell you—it's wild, tragic, and ridiculously human. If you've ever stared too long in a mirror and wondered what it’d take to feel powerful… this one’s for you. Big biceps. Bigger consequences. 🔥💊🪞
