Meeting baby Allie changes everything. In a heartbeat, he trades his carefree life for sleepless nights and diapers—and discovers a love fiercer than fear. With the help of his loyal best friend Sherry, Matthew stumbles through the chaos of single fatherhood.

Over eighteen years, as life throws enormous challenges in their path—some forcing Allie to grow up faster than she hoped—their bond only deepens.

this book was just such a break your heart but in a good way book. because its so full of tender, warm, beautiful but in the deepest ways that you truly do feel in your own heart. there is also hard decisions, hard time and sacrifices we make for those we love and those we come to love. and the real love, boy oh boy they make you able to move mountains and i truly felt this throughout this book.
i then looked up the author to see if i could read more from him. and you must go and read what he wrote on his website about the book. because it seemed impossible but i love the book even more after that! writing must be like a beautiful illness, the way these plots can come to them. i dont think we COULD all be authors because i certainly dont have those kind of plots running through my veins. i only wish i did.
this books was amazing.
