Description
‘One of my absolute favourite reads of the year’ ANDREA MARA, author of No One Saw a Thing
She witnessed a murder.
Storm used to be just like her name. Wild and strong. A force to be reckoned with.
No one believes her.
But ever since her younger brother was killed in a violent mugging, she has led a very different life: quiet and cautious, seeing danger everywhere. Storm’s tendency to panic has resulted in several false alarms, so when she witnesses a murder with uncanny similarities to the way her brother was killed, and yet no body is found and no one is reported missing, the police don’t take her seriously.
Now she's a target.
But Storm knows what she saw. And the murder is only the start – the killer will stop at nothing to keep Storm quiet. But how can she solve the murder and stay out of danger when no one believes her?

We meet Storm, 2 years after her brothers murder. Storm’s character is painted so well and with so much care you will be able to picture her perfectly.
Since his death, Storm has seen some very strange things happen but none worse than when she returns for the first time to the park her brother was murdered in - and witnesses a murder.
With help from her former police officer neighbour, she tries to find out what is happening.
The real beauty in this book is the fact that Storm is not a ‘troublemaker’ but we see through the police’s eyes how easily she could be seen as that.
A surprising novel, some very sad parts and some absolute joy from the friendships. This is not just a thriller or a mystery it’s a deep study in the easy assumptions and the stereotyping that is of no use to anyone and often ruins lives.
Thank you to the Publishers and Netgalley for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Wow Wow Wow!
With amazing characters and a plot with so many suspects, a few twists and filled with drama this is an exciting and brilliant read.
I was kept on edge and as the story unfolded I was absolutely hooked.
It definitely is a pageturner and I didn't want it to end
Just fab..
I loved reading Troublemaker. It's a memorable and gripping thriller psychological and I was hooked from the first page. One thing that stood out for me was the depth of the characters. I found the opening chapter very sad and as a result I felt great empathy with Storm from the beginning. I enjoyed the growing friendship between Storm and her neighbour too. The way the book is written made events feel very real - from the setting and places, to moments where Storm was in danger and I felt scared for her.
I'd highly recommend this book.

I absolutely love this authors books so couldn’t wait to read this. This was a tense and engaging suspenseful psychological thriller that hooked me in from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down and read it in practically one sitting.
The main character and storyline were very cleverly put together to draw the reader in and there was also so much more depth to the story than it just being simply a psychological thriller. (I won’t go into details for fear of spoilers)
This would make a good tv adaptation.
