Description

Do Not Follow is a poignant and deeply relatable story of family, identity, and self-discovery. When Seema, a middle-aged consignment store owner, is forced to return to her hometown of Albany after seventeen years, she must confront the ghosts of her past, the family she left behind, and the choices that shaped her life. Once a promising surgeon, Seema's life took a detour after a string of failed relationships. Now, as she helps her mother sort through the clutter of their family home after her father's death, Seema embarks on an emotional journey of grief, healing, and reconciliation.

Outlining the immigrant experience and navigating the highways of life, love, and loss, Do Not Follow showcases the complexities of family dynamics and the universal struggle to find one's place in the world. It's a reminder that sometimes, the road to healing begins where the past and present collide.
