Wow! Let me first just say. “Without Good Reason” by Colette Lewis was an incredible read. As someone who has suffered with mental health issues all my life, this novel really hit close to home. I did feel there were a few too many storylines intertwined in the book and felt like I was getting sidetrack, and would have to go back to remember what happened and who it happened to, etc. But overall, I absolutely loved the book. It’s heartbreaking to see how much pain a person holds within themselves, to the point where they’re unable to let it out. I’m so glad the book ended the way it did.

Excellent writing that will have the reader hooked and eager to know the truth.
Characters that are complex and nuanced ,that give depth and authenticity to the book.
A gripping and tense read .
