Description
Before the Coffee Gets Cold meets KPop Demon Hunters in this cosy YA timeslip romance with a gorgeous Korean setting, cute cheesecake dates and a rogue time traveller you can't help but fall for.
Here's one thing I know for certain: if I never see you again, the world will end.
Yang Mina was born with the power to travel through time and has spent her life training to be an agent for the Descendants, a secret organisation which protects our timeline.
But when she discovers that the Descendants are corrupt - and erased her sister from existence - her whole world unravels.
Her only hope is Yejun, an irritatingly handsome but illegal agent. Can she ignore his charms long enough to restore the timeline, save her sister and pass her Calculus class?

What a gorgeous book both inside & out! First things first the beautiful cover just draws you right in! I loved the Xoxo Kitty vibes with the gorgeous Koren setting. I was very invested to find out what happened to our MC sister and also the irritatingly handsome love interest that helps her along the way!
Oh my gosh, what a story. This YA romance includes time travel, a hint of longing, a cute MC and lots of suspense. Set in Seoul with Japanese influences, this book follows Mina, a high-school dragon descendent who has to fit in school around protecting the timeline. I really loved how seemingly random occurrences would link back around, and things were never as simple as they seemed. Baker exhibits her genius by building likeable characters, a rich setting and such a deep plot, all within 300 pages. I'm so grateful to Hachette and NetGalley for allowing me to jump forward in time and read this ahead of publication, definitely one to look out for when it hits the shelves!
