I read this with my 5 year old daughter and even though some parts were hard for her to understand, I really enjoyed it and actually learnt a lot about ducks in the process. The book is full of useful fact and funny puns which I loved. I feel this book would be a great addition in schools and libraries for kids to learn more about ducks.

Who knew there was so much to know about ducks?! I love how you can read as much of this book as you'd like or just focus on the main text - a great option when reading to kids before bed! Great illustrations and the layout is very appealing to the eye.

What a great book to teach children all about ducks! All of the facts about ducks were presented very clearly for children to understand. Also, the added comments from the ducks were spot on! This would be a great classroom resource. It even had a neat duck craft at the end. Thanks Netgalley for the ARC!

This is a very informative, educational book for elementary age readers, and anyone who enjoys learning more about ducks. I liked the illustrations, captions, and facts. I learned that there are primary, sencondary, and tertiary feeders, which was interesting to me as well. Nature lovers, environmental lovers, and animal lovers will all enjoy learning from this book.

I highly recommend this book for schools and libraries.

Great book to teach kids about ducks and the variety of traits that ducks share with other animals and traits that are unique to ducks. This book is both engaging and educational, including interactive activities throughout as well as presenting some scientific terminology (carnivore/omnivore/herbivore, primary/secondary/tertiary consumer, ornithologists, lamellae). Perfect for upper-elementary and middle-grades young readers (ages ~7-12). Readers at the younger end of the range may need guidance with some of the terminology, but this book would be a great addition to any classroom or home library.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the eARC.

As someone who loves ducks, I loved this picture book. The difference in text sizing was a lot of fun. The illustrations were very cute and provided a variety of ducks.

Let's Explore Ducks by Siski Kalla has everything! If you have a little one obsessed with ducks (how could you not be?) this is the book for you. Let's Explore Ducks is not only full of beautiful illustrations and duck facts but also has a science experiment, a craft, and trivia questions!

Generally when books are this text dense they get a bit boring for younger kiddos, but with the amount of interactive questions this book is sure to have something for a wide range of ages.
