I love a good rockstar romance! This was so much fun! I was looking for something light and fun to read during infusion and this perfectly fit the bill! I love any books that deal with the glamorous rockstar world and this was a great choice. Great characters, great chemistry, and lots of fun rock star action! Be sure to check this one out you won’t regret it

Nick and Maddie thank you for bringing me joy today. and the imprint of this book will stay with me. i loved these two characters from the get go. they were just good people. and boy did i want them to be good people together. forever.
Maddie had that whole shing personalty i love to read about and makes me totally endear myself to her on sight. and then i just want the world for her. you also want her protected at all costs. and in this book she needs that. how dare people come for her.
one thing she does know is that she cant put up with Nicks music outside her own home anymore. he needs to step off the step and put down the guitar. but things dont exactly turn out that way and there then happens to be a photo of said accidental clinch. and it might just have started something. because this could work for both of them.
it could work a whole lot better for Nick. because hes got more definite feelings for Maddie. so when he asks her to fake date him he might be ok with that. a bit to ok with that.
i love how we get little side bits with this story. we get the fake dating. we get the falling for each other. and then we get vicious exes. and the corruption Maddie is trying to get to the bottom of.
with the two spending more time together their friendship begins to strengthen and become something more. and perhaps something way more for both of them. better than they could've ever hoped for? but can they admit it. can the barriers they hold to protect themselves comes down? can the need for Nick to protect Maddie make him think he needs to actually let her go?
i loved this book. how Kathy writes is fun and sparkling but also so much more. and in this one it goes one step more in that sense. these two just are golden. they are there for each other and the support they share and have is something i delighted in reading.
i started reading this book thinking id read a bit on a down day, when i needed something to help me feel better. but i didn't stop and just finished it all. it was everything i needed and then so much more. this might be flying straight to one of my favorites.
