The US is in a state of disrepair. The government has been overtaken by a cult of extremists who glorify a mysterious entity known as the Radiance. Their leader, a sadistic High Priest by the name of Roman Chasnik, rules with an iron fist, spreading his doctrine across the world and executing anyone who dares to speak out against him.

Paul Letterman doesn’t want to be involved in any of this. But he doesn’t have a choice. After a disastrous car crash, Paul awakens in the palace of Chasnik himself, and finds himself a pawn in a complicated political game that’s just beginning. Via an unexpected turn of events, Paul soon becomes a nationwide symbol of freedom and rebellion.

As Paul flees the grasp of the sinister Roman Chasnik, he grapples with his role in the world, and must decide what he will do with his newfound influence. He is a beacon of hope in a dark world, and if he chooses to fight, he may just become the spark which burns down Chasnik’s nefarious theocracy.
