This book is everything I didn't know that I needed. Now I crave for more. Arianna has had her fair share of dud boyfriends until she meets the sweetest and hottest guy ever Denham King. There chemistry is off the charts and I want him as my own book boyfriend. The plot is cleverly written with spice, emotions and thrills. The cliffhanger ending is so well created but I was screaming because I needed to know what happened. Luckily I got the next book! So I will now be on do not disturb for the rest of the day or until I have read the next book.

This book was not what I was expecting at all! The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat while reading. I mean come on. Who doesn’t want someone like Denham King? He’s just the perfect knight in shining armor. The trust he shows in Arianna, the bond that they build. I mean come on. He’s just the perfect book boyfriend.

Buying her a phone and booking her massages is just the tip of the iceberg. There is nothing that he wouldn’t do for her.

I felt every emotion, literally from the beginning, and I cannot believe what I just read! Arianna is an icon and one of my favourite fmcs to date, and we all love the mysterious type of man that Denham King is.

I really really loved this book! Would 1000% recommend it to anyone.

King of My Scars was one of those romances that leans heavily into emotion, healing, and the complicated ways two broken people can find their way to each other. Abby North writes characters with a lot of depth, and I really appreciated how much of the story focused on vulnerability and personal growth.
What stood out to me most was the emotional tension between the characters. Their past wounds and insecurities made their connection feel layered and real, and watching them slowly break down those walls kept me invested in their story.
The romance itself had a nice balance of tenderness and intensity, and the character development added weight to the relationship. There were a few moments where the pacing slowed slightly, but the emotional payoff made it worthwhile.
Overall, King of My Scars is a heartfelt romance about healing, trust, and learning to love despite the scars we carry. If you enjoy character-driven romances with emotional depth and strong relationship development, this is definitely one to check out.

However, because the story focuses exclusively on her point of view, it felt a bit repetitive at times. I think a dual perspective could have added more variety to the narrative.

Just finished reading an advanced copy of a book called, King of My Scars. This is about a woman named Arianna and she's running away, again. She hasn't had the best of luck when it comes to men, which is why when she meets Denham King she is very untrusting and cautious, despite how safe she actually feels when she's near him. But as she gets to know him she begins to let her guard down and finally relax for the first time in so long, but danger and her past are lurking much closer than she thinks.
Wow, this was such an easy and enjoyable read! I was hooked on this romantic suspense story from the start and absolutely flew through it! Arianna's character development despite all she had been through was really well done, I was so happy for her to finally find the love she deserves with Denham. The chemistry between them was instant, but I love that he gave her all the time she needed to feel safe and ready to open her heart again. But OMG that cliffhanger ending had me reeling!! 🤯 I was totally not expecting the story to end in that moment and I absolutely NEED to read the next story as soon as humanly possible! 💜📚
