We journey to a distant land where we find a mountain that has no end, a mountain so tall that the people who live within its highest peaks know nothing of the world below the clouds. It is a mountain full of mystery and monstrous creatures the likes of which you have never seen.
Hiding within the peaks we find the mountain moon tribe and our main girl Mia. Mia is the child elder, the first of her generation; she is born 13 years ahead of her peers and bears the huge responsibility of guiding them through life. However, Mia is troubled by an unrelenting itch for adventure and when she makes a wish upon a falling star, it is granted and ultimately her wish threatens the destruction of her village.
She is flung into a race to prevent the extinction of her people. Chosen to go beyond the forbidden lands, to seek the help of an ancient spirit that dwells many miles away within the heart of the mountain itself.
Along the journey, she will meet the monstrous creatures that plagued her bedtime stories and upon the journey’s end, she will discover a terrible truth that will change the future of the mountain forever...
