Description
Ronaldo (Scouted!) is an unofficial sports biography of soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo — one of the greatest goal scorers in the history of the sport — for readers ages 9 and up (approx. 24,000 words / 119 pages).
Not your ordinary sports biography. Meet Enzo Gatto, a fictional Italian scout who has spent 30 years filling notebooks with stories about the greatest soccer stars on the planet. He takes readers from the boy who cried so much they called him "the cry-baby," to the twelve-year-old who flew to Lisbon alone, to the man who got carried off on a stretcher in the biggest game of his life — and came back to coach his team from the sideline.
The book features illustrations, data charts and stats breakdowns from Professor Soccerologist, and tactical skill analysis from coach Nina Cruz. It's the first in a series of unofficial sports biographies covering today's greatest stars in the sport.

This is a really fun biography of Ronaldo for young fans. My son, who is obsessed with Ronaldo, loved it - and I thought the illustrations were good as well.
