Description
A covergirl with a face tarnished by a death wish. A white contract killer disguised in black makeup. Neither was happy with his reflection in the mirror. Marjorie "Neesha" Steele was so bedeviled by the murder of her baby sister in a drive-by shooting in New Jersey that she became obsessed with ridding her hometown of a violent drug merchant, the man responsible for her sister's death. Her revenge against the murderer is inadvertently assisted by a notorious assassin from Philadelphia, who was contracted to take out that same drug dealer as an offshoot of warring crime families. After an abandoned baby is discovered, a raucous, illegal custody battle evolves into an unlikely romance between the intellectual African-American princess and the Italian-American thug, who ultimately was seeking his own redemption from his murderous lifestyle.

Nicholas Rome's Cupid's Got A Glock is not your typical "Romeo and Juliet" story. True, there's conflict and romance and more conflict, but Shakespeare was NEVER like this!!!
Giovanni Sortino, the Black Valentine, is an Italian-American contract killer who's tired of his job, but isn't sure he's good for anything else. Marjorie "Neesha" Steele, former singer, now works with her cousin at a Child Care Crisis center but she's still feeling that something is missing from her life. All it took was one "hit" to bring them together in the craziest of circumstances and their lives, separately and together, would never be the same.
The killers, the victims and the innocents abound in this fast-paced thriller-cum- love story. Sometimes it's hard to discern who's who because nobody truly knows who the one beside them really is, whose side they're on and whether they're friend or foe. Join Giovanni and Neesha on there search for life, love, justice and the freedom that neither of them thinks they can ever find.

I honestly have no idea how to say how I feel about this book/review it without giving the whole storyline away so I will just say that it was shocking and the characters were very compelling and complex. If you like old school mob type stories with a twist you might like this book. Overall I personally rate this book a 6/10.
