This was the first book I have read by this author and I absolutely loved it!
The slow burn, the tension, the rivalry…sensational!
Maeve and Elliot were so perfect together, I wish the book was longer so I could have more moments of them!
I do wish we had more chapters in Elliot’s pov but aside from that I thoroughly enjoyed this read!

i’m absolutely in love with maeve and elliot. the banter. the yearning. just every little detail came together to create this emotionally charged romance.
the slow burn as well!! YESSSS! give me more. the way i could’ve read a thousand more pages about them because i was that obsessed.
if you have not read this book or any book by selina mae you are HIGHLY missing out on amazing writing. amazing character development. yearning. angst. friendship.

The banter?
The tension?
I'm such a sucker for workplace rivalry romance. I absolutely loved Maeve and Elliott's story so much. It had me relating to Maeve so much and I couldn't put my book down. I understand it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but ohmygods I enjoyed it so much.
