Straight out of Hall Beck University, Maeve Peterson lands an internship at Adeline Ashwood – the biggest luxury empire in the world – and suddenly her dream of working in fashion seems closer than ever. Maeve has always dreamed of working in fashion, and through sheer determination and a routine she barely derives from, everything always works out for Maeve. Perfectly.

Until she walks into the Ashwood offices and realizes there’s a difference between college life and the real world–and that she seems to thrive less in the latter. Especially when Elliot Ashwood gets involved: youngest heir of the Ashwood empire and her new colleague. But their rivalry becomes hard to maintain when she continues finding him in disarmingly intimate situations in their shared apartment.
