Stone Warriors (A Stone Age Adventure Book 2)

A European stone age story. The book shows study of uses of plans, and knowledge of animals in stone age Europe. The author does have some inconsistency, not having the body of animals dressed before transportation which would have soured the meat before the next day.
The characters have a good history, and it shows that it is a second book in the series, many reverences of the pervious book but not that it affects the story.

Very cool and unique story/historical fiction! Unfortunately, this book does not fit our criteria for the state book committee but I'm looking forward to exploring this and the first novel more for my library.

Having not read the previous book, I wasn't sure how easy this would be to read. My fears were immediately cast aside thanks to the authors note at the beginning of the book summarising what I needed to know. I enjoyed the pace of this book. There was sufficient time to build a picture of the world whilst still advancing the action quickly enough to keep me turning the pages. I thought the main characters were a great contrast to each other and I was rooting for them as they made their choices and decisions.
