Description
What happens when the cameras turn off and the PR relationship doesn’t fizzle out?
It’s a question Sofía Martinez never imagined asking herself, but she didn’t anticipate fake dating her boss, either. When social media star Jett Parks offers her a new job—one with higher pay, flexibility, and a fancy title—she’s hard-pressed to say no. However, their friendship blurs lines she’d rather keep crisp and precise. Determined to make a strong impression, Sofía throws herself into planning a trip to Australia for Jett’s new docuseries, Wonder Down Under.
After an out-of-context video goes viral early into their adventure, leading the internet to assume they’re dating, Sofía offers to capitalize on their moment in the spotlight. Celebrities fake relationships constantly, and if it increases ticket sales and visibility for his docuseries, all the better. How was she supposed to know that each stop would only deepen the attraction between them?
There’s no employee handbook outlining the rules for PR relationships—or what to do when you accidentally fall in love. But what happens Down Under doesn’t always stay there, and Sofía must decide if what they built is real, or if it was all for show.

Would it be mac n cheesy to say that I’m wild about this book? 🤭 (IYKYK)
Fake/PR dating, only one tent, forced proximity, ADHD and dyslexia representation, and workplace romance will steal your heart from page 1! As an eldest daughter with ADHD, this book hit HARD. A love letter to eldest daughters everywhere, I felt so seen by Sofía’s struggles with hyperindependence and taking care of everyone around here even when she risked burnout. As a fellow type A person, her story resonated with me and I hope to someday find my person that helps ease the burden of responsibility off my shoulders. Jett’s inner monologue of, “All I’ve ever wanted was someone to let me in, to trust me enough to give me the opportunity to shoulder some of the weight they carry” made hyperindependent readers ever swoon. The way that Sofía and Jett paid attention to the little things for each other (like her changing fonts and reducing text in documents to accommodate his severe dyslexia) was adorable and their love story was truly beautiful!
The yearning and the romance left me giggling, kicking my feet, and swooning and there are so many beautiful sentiments tucked into the pages of this story. “My piece of advice: Find someone who remembers. The big things, the small habits, all of your little quirks. Words are a declaration of love, but remembering is the action of it.” Truly iconic and such an important piece of advice because as they say, actions do speak louder than words. Honestly, can Nicole just write my love story at this point?
Full of adventure, heart, and vulnerable characters learning to love again after heartbreak, Nicole once again takes us on an emotional journey that leaves us rooting for the characters to not just get together, but to also become the best version of themselves. With gentle softness and the intimacy that comes with being vulnerable enough to chase both what you love and what scares you, Wild In Love teaches us that taking a chance can lead to the life we’ve always wanted.
Mark your calendars for July 28th for the next installment in what has been an incredible STEM series!
