This book is ridiculously fun and indulgent. I didn't know "he buys her books" was a trope until now, but this story takes it over the top. It’s short, silly in a good way, and very romance-reader meta. The main characters talk about romance books and readers, Review websites, e-readers, wish lists, hockey romance, crying over fictional characters, and all the weird little things romance readers do.
Tess gives Kirill a lot of sarcastic jabs, which keeps the captive/captor dynamic sharp and dynamic. Kirill is immediately obsessed with her, and he’s very “kidnapper, but make him a provider.” He buys her books (so many books), makes her food, and somehow turns surveillance into foreplay chess.
"Your Villain" has made a friend request. It's whacky in the best way.
The chase-game structure was exciting and Kirill's obsessive caretaking is sweet.
For the audio, Brandon Francis doing Kirill’s Russian accent fit the premise well. Lucy Rivers is not my favorite narrator because she often takes huge gulps of air before lines, and her English accent doesn't always work for me since she's American, but I can't fault her for this performance. I loved duet format because it's easier to follow and get the subtle little vocal cues correct for the character. There's one scene when they go out to meet some mafia folks and each narrator does a commendable job doing different voices/tones/accents for each person in the room.
Such a fab Bratva romance. Always so intense when they fall in love, may aswell be a shifter. When you know you know. This is excellently narrated the voices are perfect t for the characters. Even though she had effectively been kidnapped it was very romantic. Overall I loved it. Definitely recommend.
This was a great, fast read/listen. It was instalust/love with a morally grey mob boss who is using his power to eliminate bad guys. He kidnaps her, she beguiles him, lots of swoon worthy actions and chases ending in spicy time and you have a super fun story. Overall, this is perfect for when you want a story you can fully live in for a a couple of hours.
The narrators were wonderful and fit the characters (with accents) perfectly. It was an enjoyable listen.
Completely smashable and unputdownable. This is a total vibe read and I’m now running on feel good endorphins. Playful, sweet, spicy and deliciously naughty. The male narrator growls. GROWLS. Like a panty melting growl. But the dirty talk in that accent is where I really melted. Kirill is so stalkery and cute but only for Tess. She may be innocent but she’s level headed and a fellow smut loving book gremlin. He makes the PERFECT husband for a book girlie. At first I didn’t like the female narrator but she grew on me as the book progressed.

Oooooooo.....please hang on while I stomp my feet at the MMC narrator voice!!! Evie Rose definitely picked perfect narrators for this duet. Brandon Francis, you really knocked this one out of the park with that unbelievable growl, yes, sir!! Great book, fabulous narration, and a duet cast made it perfect for a one sitting devouring for me!!

This was an incredibly sweet and spicy novella. The audiobook is fantastic - done in duet format with the narrators voicing their characters no matter which POV it was. I love that style, it makes every scene so much more immersive.
Nabbed by the Bratva is an interconnected standalone - I've read one other book in the series, so I recognized some of the side characters, but that's not necessary to read this.
If you're into extra-spicy dark romance with kidnapping, primal play, morally grey MMCs and more, this book is for you. Check the TWs if in doubt. 5/5 spice level, explicit and plentiful.
A huge thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the ALC I received in exchange for my honest review.

I am so down for instalust every time. And these narrators🤤. Lucy Rivers was the perfect Tess and Brandon Francis and his growly Russian was exactly what this audiobook needed. The banter was top notch and the spicy was spicy. Thank you to Evie Rose and NetGalley for the ALC! I cannot wait to explore more of Evie’s books!

What a funny book! The banter between the two main characters is perfect. I found myself laughing out loud several times. The MMC is the Pakhan and knows what he wants and takes it. The FMC is rather timid but is really funny and not afraid to stand up to the MMC. This is a super fast read and was a lot of fun. I think I found my new book boyfriend. They have some awesome spicy times, with some primal play involved. I resd/listened to this book and the narrators and their accents were perfect. I loved this short book and want more! I would definitely recommend it.

What a fun, short, filthy read! Tess is captured after seeing something she shouldn’t, and they start a game of cat and mouse to see if she can earn her freedom. Kirill falls for Tess fast and Hard, and he will stop at nothing to make her happy. I loved their banter, Kirill's touch her and XXX vibes, and Tess's book obsession.
Brandon Francis and Lucy Rivers narrate this book in DUET and they did an amazing job! I really enjoyed this listen!
Thank you, Evie Rose, for an advanced copy of this audiobook.
Very steamy , very bingeable packed with witty banter, a grumpy OTT , possessive MMC and sunshine FMC.
I enjoyed this immensely!
Many thanks to Evie Rose, Netgalley and Victory Editing Netgalley Co-op for the ALC.
This book is exactly what it describes itself to be: a quick, steamy, dark romance. The narrators are great, and this is a great slump buster if you're looking for one!

Thank you to the Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for an ALC of this book.
Steamy…steamy…steamy! Kirill and Tess are quite the pair and I am here for it. Tess was walking home from work late one night and accidentally stumbles upon Kirill who was about to kidnap a target. Instead of kidnapping him, he kills him and goes after Tess since she saw his face. He ends up kidnapping her and taking her to his big estate. There she learns that Kirill un-alives child predators in his free time and his day job is being a Bratva boss. While in his home Tess gets to see his softer side and goes from captive to capturing Kirill’s heart. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. This is definitely a spicy good time.
~~Call me Stockholm syndrome, because I’m in love with my kidnapper.~~
This is one of Evie Rose's best novellas so far. There’s action right from the start. And I didn't think I'd enjoy the chase part that much. It’s hot! Simply loved Kirill and Tess together!
The ruthless Pakhan has a real soft spot for the girl he kidnapped.
~~“If I catch you, I keep you. Now run.” (….) I want, desperately, to be caught by him.~~
~~Sometimes, you just have to realize how stupidly lucky you are, and accept it.~~.
The duet narration of this audiobook was excellent! I loved how both narrators, Brandon Francis and Lucy Rivers, brought this story to life. Highly recommended!

This was such a good novella. This may reawaken my mafia side. Tess and Kirill.... she ends up his captive by accident. Can't have loose strings running around now can you.
Kirill the Black Fin leader has an interesting hobby and watching him with his captive Tess is interesting.
This is a super spicy, age gap, captor/captive, mafia boss romance.
Something oddly appealing about all the things he does for Tess. Especially when it comes to books.
Thanks to NetGalley for this audio version, I loved it.
The male narrator is FIVE PLUS STARS.
This novella was chaotic in the best way possible! It was spicy, funny, and ridiculously entertaining from start to finish.
Kirill was basically every morally grey book boyfriend rolled into one giant red flag and honestly? I loved every second of it. Tess was hilarious and way too relatable for the book girlies. I was giggling nonstop at all the little reader references sprinkled throughout the story.
Short, unhinged, spicy, and surprisingly cute underneath all the chaos. Definitely worth the read if you want something quick and fun with dark romance vibes.

Nabbed by the Bratva definitely gave me major 365 Days vibes — possessive mafia energy, chemistry, and tension. It was a quick, addictive read that kept me entertained from start to finish. If you enjoy dark mafia romance with an over-the-top alpha hero, this one delivers. I will be adding the rest of the series to my TBR list. Thank you Netgalley
Why can't I be kidnapped by a hot Russian Mafia boss with a deep gravelly voice who buys me books, spoils me rotten, treats me like a queen and chases me down only to give me orgasms as a prize? Is that too much to wish for?
This book was so much fun and I smashed it. It's my first Evie Rose book and I'm obsessed with her writing style. I was there, fully invested, feeling the feels, loving the chase and giggling at their banter. The spice level was off the charts and dirty talk in a Russian accent in my new kink. Yes, they talk about love and babies after just a few days, but their chemistry is so addictive you won’t even care.
The audiobook narration was top-notch. Lucy Rivers and Brandon Francis did an amazing job, but Brandon’s swoon-worthy, deep growl was absolute chef’s kiss! 😘
I just loved this quick, spicy novella.
The narrators were fun, clear, and interesting. They had enjoyable accents and added fabulous tone.
The novel itself was quick paced, dark, smutty, and funny. I enjoyed the dark elements and the romance - just be aware it's definitely and insta-love and unrealistic romance plot. However I just loved the main relationship - they were playful and dark, deadly and kind, and so many great traits.
She seen something she shouldn’t have. He can’t let her go and risk her telling anyone.
Kidnapping
Spice
Age gap
He falls first
He would do anything for her
I love these short mafia stories!
Evie writes good instalove books but the audios are really good. The chase at the beginning is the book was the kick off to many more to come. Kirill and Tess were slow burn and lots of banter, but once both gave in to temptation it was lots of fire 🤭. I like Evie’s instalove and enough of steam to get you thru the end are really good.
Thank you Victory Editing Netgalley Co-Op for giving me the opportunity to audio ARC this audiobook.
The narrators did an excellent job! I ate this audio up in one day. Evie's writing is fantastic and they really brought this story to life making me love it even more. Thank you so much for the audio
I loved this audiobook and the voice actors voices. I know it’s only a novella but I wanted more. Now I’m going to have to read the book and look in to the rest of the series. This was a good listen and I lived the storyline and narrator’s voices.
If you are looking for a fast-paced, high-heat mafia romance, Nabbed by the Bratva by Evie Rose is exactly what you need. This was my first introduction to the London Mafia Bosses series, and after finishing this, I am definitely looking forward to reading the rest!
The story follows Tess, a Virgin FMC who knows what she wants and exactly how to get it. However, her life takes a dangerous turn when she witnesses something she was never meant to see. Enter Karille: a morally gray mafia leader who kidnaps her to keep his secrets safe. While Karille is a formidable leader, I loved seeing his "soft heart" emerge as he slowly falls for Tess.
The tropes in this book are top-tier, including:
* Forced Proximity (the kidnapping leads to some intense tension!)
* Masked man
* Morally Gray MMC
* Virgin FMC
The spice level is a solid 5/5—it’s incredibly steamy, yet the spice-to-plot ratio is perfectly balanced. The story never feels like it's stalling; the plot moves quickly and kept me engaged from start to finish.
I listened to the ALC version, and I have to give a huge shout-out to the narrator, Brandon Frances. His performance was fantastic and kept me hooked throughout the entire book. His voice perfectly captured the mood of the story.
Overall, this is a gripping, spicy read that fans of the mafia genre will love.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this ALC in exchange for my honest review.

Nabbed By The Bratva is book 11 in the London Mafia Bosses series, but can be read as a stand-alone. I listened to the audiobook narrated by Brandon Francis and Lucy Rivers who did a fantastic job.
This is the story of Tess who is hard-working and solitary and on her way home from working at the bar witnesses something she shouldn't and sees the assailant's face. He chases her and captures her.
What ensues is a cute, spicy, mafia romance. It is a quick read and keeps you engaged. It hits a lot of tropes but does it in a fun way. I highly recommend this!
You can’t do no wrong with a short spicy, Evie Rose book !
There are my perfect morning audios I love them so much lol
After dropping the kids off at school and I’m stuck in traffic I have THE BEST TIME EVER !
Every single audio I’ve giggled like a little girl lol
Narrators did a amazing job, absolutely adore duo narrations.
This book has everything you can want. Kidnapping, steaminess that will make you blush. So good I had to listen twice.

This is actually the eleventh book in the London Mafia Bosses series but I really don't think that it mattered that this was my first read.
From the descriptions, it seems we follow different characters within each book and each story is complete in itself.
I obviously have no clue whether some of the characters crossover between books at all, but I definitely didn't feel confused or like I'd missed anything whilst reading this book.
Now, this was a novella quick read and as such, things moved a a speedy pace.
A lot happened within a fairly short space of time, but I was totally all there for it.
As we'd expect with a Bratva novel, Kirill is a dark and moody character - caught in the act of his latest kill, he cannot leave loose ends and so we find him nabbing Tess from the streets of London and sneaking her away to his country home.
Both a little enamoured by the other, we find their relationship develops swiftly and I loved every second.
At just over 150 pages (just under 4 hours audio) I hadn't expected to become so immersed in the lives of Kirill and Tess, but I absolutely loved the dynamic between them and I know that insta-love sometimes doesn't work - bug I really do think it works well in this genre.
This had everything you'd expect from a dark romance novel but I actually also found there to be lots of heartwarming as well as hilarious moments (apologies if I wasn't meant to laugh - but there was so much humour here)
I loved the smutty moments which worked well to progress the storyline and to develop the relationship to a very satisfactory ending.
An absolute joy to devour in a single sitting and I'm already adding the rest to my wishlist as we speak!
💕Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for my ARC copy - this is my honest review 💕
Another lovely addition to MATHs club this one has a bit of primal play in it, and our FMC kind of being unwanted in our MMC being a bit of an antisocial person, but these two become each other’s persons and this does end in an HEA

Honestly, this was a good time! My friend loves mafia romance books, and I had literally just said I might be interested in trying one on audiobook if it was with a Russian accent. Then I found this novella, and it felt very meant to be, haha.
My first mafia romance - so a little out of my comfort zone, but really it was a really good introduction to the genre. This is short, sweet, and spicy! Tess is kidnapped by Kirill, a mafia boss, but is showered with affection, gifts, and even advanced copies of her favorite books! I mean, I get it, Tess. It doesn’t take too long for a feelings to take root.
I don’t have any other mafia books to compare this to, but I enjoyed the ride! I’ve already looked up the rest of the series and downloaded the bonus extended epilogue on the author’s website.
Thank you so much to Netgalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the advanced listening copy!
