Description

The second book in the searing HER HIDDEN FIRE romantasy trilogy, perfect for fans of S. F. Williamson, Lynette Noni and Samantha Shannon.

What happens when a girl escapes her fate?

The hunt begins.

Éadha has narrowly escaped the cruel grip of the Master Channellers on the back of a dragon. Forced to the very edge of the world she knows, to a place of long-held secrets, she must create a new life for herself - in ways she'd never imagined.

Ionáin must come to terms with the fact that he has no power, nor did he ever. Deep into the Fodder holds, he faces the stark reality of what it means to be an enemy of the Masters, and tries to make sense of what happened with Éadha.

Gry must walk the careful balance between protecting his Family's secret legacy and being true to his feelings. With his newly revealed abilities, he must train with the Masters he despises and hope to find some way to undo the very system that makes him elite.

Told from these three perspectives, HER RISING FLAME is a whirlwind sequel of world-shattering secrets, heartache, and the terrible consequences of power.

What would you sacrifice for love?

I love that we jumped straight back in where we left off in Her Hidden Fire!
I also loved that we still had multiple POVs in this book, getting to see things from different perspectives.
This book had even more danger and risk than book one, for all of our characters. It was so tense, I was on the edge of my seat.
There was a twist in there that I’m still not over, I was so shocked!
That ending had me sobbing. This book was heartbreaking!
This series is fast becoming one of my favourites.

Oh my goodness this book was so good.

After reading Her Hidden Fire, I was desperate to find out what happened next. Her Rising Flame did not disappoint. With the continuation of the plot, and the character development and relationships, it was a gripping read which I did not want to put down.

We follow Eadha, Ionian and Gry throughout the book as everything happens in different places, giving the reader a full view of what is going on in the world with all of our main characters. This is balanced so beautifully well, with the occasional points of crossover as they help each other as well.

I would definitely urge people who read book one to continue on and read book two, as it is more plot and character relationships in such the best way and lets you delve deeper into their minds.

Thank you so much to the publisher for the NetGalley approval.
