Anyways, Paige owns a bookstore in a small town! She's recently been dumped, and is trying (?) to get her life back on track. Unfortunately for her, a mysterious cowboy named Shayne keeps showing up. Like, especially when she's a bit drunk and naked in a river.

What I expected was a cozy small-town romance, but this was also FUNNY. I mean, just read page one and you'll know what I'm saying. I should also mention that this explores friendship and grief, and how to rebuild after you've lost who you could've been.

Paige is delightfully chaotic. Not annoying, just the kind of person I'd like to think I was in my twenties.

As for Shayne: if you enjoy yourself an emotionally unavailable cowboy with a tragic backstory, then congratulations! Has Michelle Eileen got just the one for you!

Oh, did I mention there's a mystery threaded throughout the story? That was an unexpected surprise as well.

Come for the opening bookstore scene. Stay for the annoyed and annoyingly cute cowboy.

Such a good romantic/cowboy/suspense! Loved that he dressed up as a Fae Prince for her author's book signing 😂 The mystery around what was actually happening had me anxious to keep reading. Wasnt sure what to expect! Was not disappointed.

This was exactly what the title promised, an absolute page turner! Why did it have to end? I need more of Shayne and Paige please!! I'm not usually one of insta-love but their chemistry was so well written that I didn't even notice it was only a few weeks since they first met. Loved it!

This is my second cowboy romances I have ever read and this book has made me realize I need to start reading more of them. The tipping of the cowboy hat. The way he swoops in to save her everything she is a damsel in distress.

Even with the book being a romance it is still suspenseful with many turns in the plot making me wondering what will happen next and it is roping me in for this chaotic lifestyle that Paige has.

Shayne is just a dream. From being a good-looking cowboy by day to being a hero in the night saving the damsel he is a true cowboy.

I love this book so much I am struggle to put everything I love about it into words without spoiling anything. However I believe that people should read this book when it is released to the public.

This was a wonderfully done western romantic comedy and worked well with the genre, I was engaged from start to finish and was invested in what was happening with the characters and their world. I was enjoying the way Arden was written and thought this was realistic and had that element that I wanted. Michelle Eileen has a strong writing style and was glad I got to read this. It was everything that was promised and enjoyed this overall.
