Description

1950s Western Australia. A lost relic. A buried past. One discovery on the remote Abrolhos Islands that changes everything.

For young Anna, life is a series of grey days anchored by a weight of loss and guilt she can’t outrun. She exists in a season of stagnation until a mysterious relic, nested within a remote island’s salt-bleached landscape, upends her quiet world, and her cycle of grief finally starts to break. The find points toward a centuries-old Dutch East India Company shipwreck — a vessel long thought lost.

Desperate for a lifeline, Anna sets out to trace the relic’s origins, searching treacherous seas to find the missing ship. But the search leads her into more than just history. As she uncovers the story behind the relic — while navigating a new love and his manipulative boss — Anna must decide whether she’ll remain a captive of her past or find the courage to let the seasons turn. In this evocative exploration of sea and soul, Anna’s journey poses the ultimate question: can her pursuit of a story truly lead to redemption?
