From the #1 international bestselling author of Better Than the Movies, comes a rags-to-riches rom-com about a small-town girl and a big-city boy who is hiding an explosive secret.
Julia is a small-town girl who loves her peaceful life. But when her family inherit a not-so-small fortune from her secret multi-millionaire neighbour, she is swept away to live in New York City and attend an elite private school for the super-rich.
It should be a dream come true, but Julia is struggling to fit in at her new school, and even worse, she’s failing. Enter Damion, the mysterious and handsome tutor who is hired to get Julia back on track. Except Damion has a secret: he is a relative of the man who left everything to Julia’s family, and he doesn’t buy for a second that his Great-uncle would leave his fortune to strangers instead of family.
Damion schemes to earn Julia’s trust, so he can uncover what really happened. But the more time Damion spends with Julia, the more his plan begins to backfire, as he soon starts falling for her.
As Damion and Julia work to figure out where they belong, will they be able to see past their differences and lean into their feelings, or will the trust Damion has worked so hard to gain lead everything to fall apart?
A swoony and fun, opposites-attract romance from the New York Times bestseller, Lynn Painter.

Well what can I say Lynn Painter has done it again, a great romance for us again. She is by far the most popular author at my school for this genre and I cannot wait to buy a copy for school, it has everything you could want in it.
Julia has to attend a new school in New York to obtain an inheritance and of course it comes with conditions and the boy who thought he would inherit the house they are living in. Just a perfect book
Thank you to Simon and Schuster for the ARC

AND LYNN PAINTER DID IT AGAIN!!! Trust Fall was a whole experience 🥹🍂 This book made me laugh, blush, cry, and feel like I was living in New York AND Nebraska during autumn, made me fall in love with these places I've never been to, the people I've never met. I’m never recovering from these characters 🧡
It was an absolute delight from start to finish. Damion and Julia had incredible chemistry, and their banter had me smiling constantly. I especially loved Damion’s growth throughout the story, his banters and teasing remarks, Julia’s relatable anxiety representation and her adorable little antics, and the way Lynn Painter made every side character feel memorable and loved, especially Remi.. The New York and autumn atmosphere was beautifully written, and the emotional moments genuinely moved me. This was funny, heartfelt, romantic, and ultimately a story about love, grief, healing, and finding home in the people around you.

It was adorable that Remi was always present throughout the whole book. The story follows Julia and her family that receive a inheritance. Damien being Remi's family is disappointed when he finds out. The setting in new York and Nebraska was really good. Damion starts as Julia's tutor and realises it's not all as it seemed. This book highlights bullying part was really heartbreaking. Overall I had a great time reading their story.
