I wasn't expecting this book to pull me in as quickly as it did, but once it got going, I couldn't stop reading. The atmosphere is dark, unsettling, and completely addictive. Every chapter left me wondering who could actually be trusted and what was really happening.

The author does an excellent job building suspense while keeping the tension high. I loved how the story constantly blurred the line between illusion and reality, making me question everything right alongside the characters. It gave me the same feeling I had watching Now You See Me for the first time, except this is much darker and far more psychological.

The characters are flawed, ambitious, and morally gray, which made them incredibly compelling to follow. Even when I didn't agree with their decisions, I understood their motivations, and that made the story even more engaging.

The only reason this wasn't a full five stars is that there were a couple of sections where the pacing slowed just enough to pull me out of the story. Even so, the ending delivered, and I finished the book wanting more.

If you enjoy psychological thrillers that are atmospheric, unpredictable, and filled with deception, this is one I'd definitely recommend.
