Description

A middle aged divorcée (Kate Maldavey) meets a young carpenter (Daniel Marejohn) with an ambition to sail the world and achieve spiritual enlightenment. As their relationship develops, he suggests that they share his journey while she proposes that he becomes her business partner running a complementary health clinic. To complicate matters, he reveals his belief that he may be the reincarnation of her beloved pet spaniel in a former life.

In response, she encourages him to write The Spaniel Manual – a spiritual journey book. As they’re about to begin their spiritual journey, a violent event triggers a reaction in him. Setting off alone on a motorbike, he crashes before he can reach his goal. Kate sets out to find him, but Daniel, now suffering from amnesia, remains elusive. Unable to locate him, she returns home to battle her own demons – cancer.

Inspired by actual events, The Spaniel Manual is a tale of hope, love and eventual loss leading to an unexpected twist.

This is a love story for spirits everywhere – reincarnated or otherwise.
