Maya, an adopted orphan of the Veigarh family, is sick of trying to find a suitable match for herself. For someone who is in business of weddings, it ought to be easier. But her cosmic bad luck seems to follow her.

It was there in the fraught relationship with her boss, Alex, teetering between outright hostility and unwilling attraction. The Veigarh Palace and the haunted forest that surrounded it, is rife with ever changing rumors, unexplained disappearances, and bogeymen who kill. And Maya is starting to believe one of them is very interested in her.
