Marketing Plan
Consanguinity is being supported through an ongoing author-led marketing campaign focused on reader discovery, reviews, and building an audience for The Veilshard Chronicles series. Promotion includes regular content through the author’s website and blog, email newsletter, and social media platforms, along with targeted outreach to independent bookstores, libraries, book bloggers, and reviewers.
The book has been promoted through Amazon advertising and enhanced A+ Content, the New Hampshire Authors directory, and the Indie Author Project. A grassroots “Traveling Consanguinity” campaign places numbered copies in Little Free Libraries and encourages readers to follow and share each book’s journey.
Continued promotion includes reader-review outreach, short-form video and BookTok content, author interviews, and bookstore and library engagement. An author interview is scheduled for October, followed by an in-person author event at The Toadstool Bookshop in Keene, New Hampshire, on November 7. Marketing will continue beyond the initial launch as readership builds toward the release of the second book in The Veilshard Chronicles.
