Description

A hurricane hits Eden County cutting it off from any outside help. The bridges are flooded, winds too strong for help to come by air, and the water of the Gulf coast too shallow and too rough for any aid to come by sea. A voice on the phone announces that he’s coming to kill Sheriff Jim Sheppard. Now the Sheriff’s Department and the Fire Department not only have to keep the people of Eden County safe from the hurricane but also protect Sheriff Jim Sheppard from a killer who is determined to see him die – along with anyone who gets in the way.

Advance Praise

"Sarah Bewley has mastered the art of building a sense of place, and Drowning Eden is a perfect example of her talent. The story returns to central Florida, and you can taste the humidity, feel the heat, and struggle against the muck as Sheriff Jim Sheppard and his dedicated deputies deal with a hurricane and a homicidal psychopath bent on revenge. Shelter in place and enjoy this taunt ride of a story."
