Set in the magical days between Christmas and New Year, Between the Years is about missed chances, the lives we settle for, and the person from your past who never quite became your future.

A fleeting kiss at midnight on New Year’s Eve 1999 could have been the start of something incredible. But instead, Grace and Max spend the next twenty years circling each other, briefly brought together each Christmas before the world pulls them apart again. Grace is building a life that looks perfect on paper; Max is caught between responsibility and the courage to want more.

Funny, tender and bittersweet, this is a love story for anyone who’s ever wondered what life might have been like if only the timing had been a little different…
