Four misfits. One murder. A demon who haunts them from the shadows.

A world where plagues don't fade, monsters don't hide, and the rulers pretend both are under control. Four misfits were forced to hunt. Not heroes. Just stubborn idiots hunting monsters to survive, one day at a time.

Until the one person who held them together was murdered. Their world shattered at once.

Now the demon lurks in the shadows, writing them. Letters that arrive at every turn, knowing things no one should/would know. A proof that he's always one step ahead.

Vengeful, they embark on a journey that none have dared to take and none have succeeded.

The deeper they go, the more they realize – the world beneath Emrozan is darker and far more dangerous than four nobodies were ever supposed to find. And everyone with power has a reason to make sure they don't.

They started this for one person. What lies ahead was never part of the plan.

Will they make it out victorious, or will they fall into the abyss of their worst fears, at the mercy of their greatest enemy?

If you're into adventure fantasy, found family, and multi-POVs with a touch of folklore from around the world, welcome to Emrozan. You'll fit right in!
