Jake Hunter has dedicated his entire adult life to protecting his community. As Californian fires blaze, he leads a team of fearless firefighters into the wild, putting his own life on the line to save others.

Redwood Creek is the greatest love Jake has ever known. He’s seen too much devastation to let anything else breach his guarded heart.

That is, until Sky Wilson storms into town, challenging every way in which he views the world.

But Sky is grappling with her own demons. Which means falling for the brooding firefighter next door is not an option. But then his molten eyes meet hers, and threaten to destroy every wall she’s ever built.

In a town where wildfires are not the only things that burn, Jake and Sky must confront their fears and fight for a chance at love.
