Exiled from their homelands, separated from the people they once knew, they are hunted and on the run.

When Joe and Kate learn of the mysterious events unfolding at the headquarters of a prominent environmental group, they know it's their last chance to fight back. Their journey takes them to the Lost Coast of California and on to an American Indian reservation in the Badlands. "Tomas Byrne scores again with an important and relentless political thriller that will have you pondering conspiracy theories long into the night . . . Byrne paints landscapes that even masters like Cormac McCarthy would be proud of. The result is a book that is both wholly engrossing and gorgeous." – bestthrillers.com

"The world of Byrne's novel is balanced on the edge of a cliff--and its story will hold readers captive for as long as it takes for that world to right itself. A tautly written thriller propelled by sharp writing and an ever complicating plot." – Kirkus Reviews

Thoroughly Entertaining. This was such an easy and entertaining book to read. I really enjoyed Tomas Byrne’s first book “Skin In the Game” which was also a great book and well worth a read. Tipping Point is a very good follow on with a clever plot and a very diverse range of characters. Kate Fallow and Joe Hawkins spent 3 months hidden away in a cabin in Iceland, where they spent their time hiking and climbing the glaciers. They certainly needed to get out of the UK after what they both went though, well anyone would if they had been tortured like Kate and Joe were. When their own Government wouldn’t believe their allegations with what the weapons manufacture Baexter Technologies, and the oil company Mandrake Resources were both up to, they had no choice but to flee the country and hide. They knew how serious it was when Joe’s brother Sam and his partner Sofi were both killed. The CIA and MI6, along with the British and US Governments seem to be in collusion with Mandrake and Baxter in making billions from Uzbekistan, in conning their corrupt leaders into parting with their gold and petroleum resources. That’s not the only Country they are prepared to exploit. Kate and Joe’s sanctuary in the cabin is shattered when a helicopter gun ship opens fire on them. Their friend Tariq suggested they both travel to the US and team up with Green Way the Environmental Group, who have had some success in exposing what Mandrake have been up to. Tariq believes the helicopter wasn’t trying to kill them, but flush them out so they could both be captured, and whatever information they had turned over. From start to finish this was a well put together and fabulous story.
