Falling Into Right deals with some serious issues and does it in a good easy. Shane and Becca were both dreaming with loss, tragedy, depression and most likely PTSD. The way they each handled it was different, but they accepted each other with flaws and all.
I enjoyed this book and appreciate the note about depression at the end. I have a 14 year old with severe PTSD and understand it's effects.

Becca has had an awful year. She lost her job and fiancé. Now she’s working as a cook at a nursing home. She is trying to get her life back on track. Then she meets a handsome cop and his dog. Shane knows what loss is, he lost half his team to a bomb while in the Army. He’s now a cop with his K-9 partner. They meet after she falls right in front of him. After they start dating, someone keeps sending letters not threatening but scary. Can they both leave the past and move forward?
First time reading this author and it was a really good story. Mystery and sex. The only thing that bothered me was Becca’s attitude about the things that happened to her. I loved Shane and Denver, the dog.

Oh my heart! I loved, no LOVED this book and the characters! Becca, Shane and Denver had my heart by the end of this book. Talk about making mistakes and feeling like you can never move past them! Becca made one mistake! One! And she cannot move past it. Maybe because her douchebag of an ex-fiance won't let her. But never fear, Shane and Denver looked past all of that and became her family that she lost.

Shane and Becca have both had a less than easy time in the past, and it was lovely to read about them getting stronger both alone and helping the other to do so. This wasn't just a damsel in distress story, Becca was strong for Shane when he needed it too. Nor did the book try to gloss over the fact that healing takes time. I liked both Becca and Shane and was good to see them get their happy ending.

Falling Into Right is an amazing story that makes you think love is out there for everyone, even if your life is a disaster.

From the hometown hero Shawn Marlow, who still struggles with life after the war, to Becca Gable who is trying to rebuild her life after a rought year that lead to making a very bad decision.

As these two come together and learn that its okay to have a past that still haunts you, they come to trust each other with talking about said past and being able to have an understanding shoulder to lean on.

Sharon takes you on a path of eatching love bloom and hoping that it all works out for two amazing people who couldn't deserve the chance a true love more.

Becca made a mistake. One error in judgement that has cost her her job, her fiancé, and her whole life. Even though she paid (literally) for her crime, she’s still paying every day. So when she fell flat on her derriere in front of the hottest cop she’s ever encountered, it’s time to disappear. And then he shows up at her door.

Shane is a retired k-9 unit soldier who joined the local sheriff’s department as a k-9 handler. Part of his duties is patrolling the courthouse corridors with his k-9 partner, Denver, a German Sheppard. To everyone in his home town, he’s a hero, but all he wants is to be a normal man and try to forget his failures in Iraq. So when a damsel literally falls at his feet, why not make sure Cinderella gets back her driver’s license?

Becca, to me, is pretty much a classic damsel in distress. Shane, in my opinion, is what makes this romance truly good. Becca lost her mother, had an unsupportive fiancé and this props her to commit a petty crime, in order to ‘feel’ something. It’s loosely sounds like a form of depression…but it still doesn’t condone her actions. Shane, after losing several of his friends in Iraq, also displays a few symptoms of depression, but is far better at handling it due to his experience with it. He vows to help Becca get through hers, with “no expiration date.” He also seems to suffer a little from PTSD.

A few things I truly enjoyed in this book were Shane (obviously) and Denver, who plays the part of a true supporting character. He’s not a convenient plot device. Denver is totally part of Shane’s life and incorporated into his routine.

All in all this was a pretty good book with some decent but not overly mind blowing intimate scenes and an obvious bad guy. The author has a small add on to the end of the book in regards to mental health that is really great.

What I liked about this book was the chemistry between Becca and Shane was real. The pain in their pasts was real but there wasn't such an overabundance of angst to bog the story down. The story is well written with great flow.

This is the first book I read by this author, and it will not be the last.
The story centers around Becca Gable and Shane Marlow.
Becca is at one of the lowest points in her life , when depression and despair makes her do something totally out of character. Now with a charge against her, losing her job and her fiance, she is trying to pick up the pieces of her life , while dealing with her mistake.
Shane survived his service in Iraq, but not without guilt and nightmares. He is now a K-9 officer at the local courthouse.
When they meet by chance, little did they know that both their lives would change forever.
The plot is engaging, with some whodunit, an unknown stalker , as well as romance. Will they find their HEA as they find the person that “gets them” ?
While the plot is interesting with complex characters, it’s also thought provoking. Mental health, depression and survival guilt are real and need to be addressed . Kudos to the author for that reminder.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I loved this book. From how Becca and Shane meet, until the very end. I do not usually like insta love books, but this one is so well done I could actually see it happening. Becca and Shane make a great couple and it was heartwarming to see how they helped each other through their tragedies. I highly recommended this book.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Well to many reading Becca's story and the "wrong" she done would seem crazy, nuts, "how could you"? But then you take a second and reflect on your own life and your past wrongs or what have you and you are like- YEAP- grief changes you. Puts you in a low place and makes you capable of things you never believed could have happened. Grief is deep and dark and can be dangerous, ask Becca. But she's realized that and she is making amends a step at a time. Too bad there are those in her life that want to throw it back at her, dredge it up at every step.

But let's bring in the Shane Marlow, war hero, to the rescue. Nope, first off, Becca is setting herself straight, not relying on anyone else to do it for her. Second, Shane sees himself as anything but a war hero and exactly in the same position as Becca- knowing the depth of loss and grief. They identify with one another and soon become pivotal in each other's lives. Falling in love? Falling in right?

But who is insistent on throwing Becca's past in her life and at what lengths will they go to in order to taunt or harass her? Shane and Becca rely even more so on each other during this time and I loved their relationship and bond.

I truly loved the suspense and mystery aspect of this romance. Great read.

Thanks NetGalley and Sharon Kay.

I loved this book from beginning to end. Shane and Becca are amazing together. Shake with his sad past from being in the military and Becca with her one mistake that cost her more than it should. A book of redemption and love. Amazingly written!

We have two people who are trying to forget their past. We meet Becca who had a past mistake and it was a big one I have to admit and she is having a hard time letting it go, that was the part that kind of got tiresome for me the repetition, yes you did yes you made a huge mistake but now it is time to move on and learn from them. Anyhoo she ends up meeting Shane who is also having a hard time letting go of some things from the past, he broke my heart but it was nice reading of these two being just what the other needed, if only someone wasn't trying to make sure Becca does not forget..

What an intense read, i love the way that the author deals with the sensitive issues of depression in Becca whom is both fiery and determined with equal amounts of vulnerability. Shane is a complex enigma of possessiveness and nightmares whilst having a strong sense of honesty.
The story unfolds nicely and flows well as it deals with emotions, and dreams for the future.
Throw in the potential stalker and it has everything.

Falling into Right is a FANTASTIC read!! I love how the author created 2 "flawed" people & brought them together to find love & acceptance in each.

I will be reading more by Sharon Kay - her books are interesting, entertaining, & full of wonderful characters.

Falling into Right is part of the Redemption County series but can be read as a stand alone.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I received a copy from NetGalley for an honest review! I'm so glad I did!

Shane and Becca have difficult pasts and that makes these two a perfect fit. Their lives shaped them to be perfect for each other though a tad damaged. Their stories and chemistry are on fire! This book is beautifully written!

I had not read the first book of this series but I will certainly be reading it now! This is written so you can be it as stand alone, but trust me the way Sharon Kay writes you will be desperate to find out more about these characters!

Falling Into Right a contemporary redemption story, where your past doesn’t define who you are as a person.

In Falling Into Right we have one character that had everything going for them. A good job that she loves and about to be married to a fantastic guy. Then one dump mistake destroyed everything. However, that didn’t stop Becca Gable to amend her outlook on life. Though she knew it’s going to be a struggle, she is willing to sacrifice everything to atone for the past.

After a few chapters, I didn’t really like the plot. It was a little farfetched. But to get through the book, I trenched ahead. Though I didn’t find the plot-line to my liking, I did, however, enjoy the chemistry between the two main characters of Shane and Becca. Can anyone be sweeter than Shane, I think not! I personally thought that Shane was beyond sweet. He recognizes that people are human and make mistakes. Being in the military and now an officer with the K9 unit he seen every mistake known to man. He didn’t hold Becca fault against her. Which made Falling Into Right a good book. Not a great one, but a good book that I think readers can get behind.
