I think this is an amazing book for teens to really simplify and explain things. Having a son who is autistic, I feel like when he is older, he would absolutely love this book.

An intriguing book which was well written, and I wish I'd has something similar during early adolescence. Perfect for kids who are just starting secondary school - and should be staple in school libraries.

This is a great little book. Each spread is a comic and discussion questions around typical social experiences. I recommend it to families with socially awkward kids (and all kids are!) and I use it in my middle school advisory to start discussions and also give students some examples of what TO do rather than just what NOT to do.

A nifty little handbook of modern etiquette for teens. I ended up purchasing this for my library as it's accessible and not too long or stodgy.

Awkward was pretty disappointing. I read a bit of it then skimmed the rest of the way through but wanted to write a review anyway.

I'm not sure what the purpose of this novel was - if it was meant to be informational or humorous or both. Because what it seemed to be was just plain common sense repeated over and over again. Awkward lays out many different instances you might find yourself in but to sum it up, the answer is to always be nice, polite and respectful. Something that I would think most people would already know is part of being a decent human being.

Still, I appreciate the effort that went into this book, especially the illustrations. I really wish I had enjoyed this more, but alas, it wasn't to be.

This book was well-written, and there were a lot of GREAT pieces of advice in it. I bought a copy for each of my teenage sisters!

I want to thank Netgalley for my copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Honestly what drew me to this book was the title.
Overall This book wasn’t my cup of tea.
I know that the person who wrote it has a lot of experience and you can see that in the details that were included.
It just felt very fake to me for some reason I felt like the author was trying to hard to be upbeat and happy and instead came across as patronising.
I didn’t hate it because there were certain aspects I did enjoy including the little exercises and illustrations.
I gave it 2 stars.

I got this book to read for helping my child go through his puberty years without being overly stressful. So far, it is very helpful; however, this is nonfiction and the chapters are dense. My son and I have only made it about halfway through the book. I do recommend it

It's super cute and helpful for dealing with things that are difficult than we ever imagine. A good self-help guide for pre-teens.

I hope there'll be more illustration to keep the readers engaged in reading this book and following them to help them realize that it's fine to feel awkward, it's "how to handle it" that makes it challenging.

I'll highly recommend this to my niece and nephews!
