This book is designed for teenage girls, but as I looked at it I could see how others could benefit. It is set up to help them as they live through the frustrating teenage years while learning to find their identity. It is a guided journal with exercises and writing prompts set up to use for 52 weeks. It is beautifully designed and well done overall by the author who is a teen advocate. The categories include Play, Spirit, Strength and Purpose. Her goal is to help young ladies build confidence and feel comfortable taking action in their own lives. Life can be challenging for all of us and this is a good book helping in an interactive way giving control through exploring feelings. I actually recommend this book or journal for all of us because it is that helpful.

Lovely, uplifting art style. Not too flowery or silly. I loved the choices of quotes, many from figures that would be recognizable to teens right now. Would make a lovely gift.

Thank you Quatro Publishing amd Netgalley for an ARC.

This journal, specifically aimed at tween / teen girls has quotes from inspirational females and a weekly journal prompt to over a year.

The concept of this book is fantastic and so important to give girls (or boys) at this age the space to write their thoughts, dreams and other ideas that will build their self-esteem and resilience, however it just fell a little short for me. I wanted a little more from many of the prompts, something to help the journaller to dig a little deeper.

I like the way this journal is set up. It has weekly writing prompts in four categories- play, spirituality, strength, and purpose. Each section has a quiz at the beginning to help you find the areas that might need more focus, and each week has you pick a beautiful thing (something that you're grateful for, for example) and a hashtag (a mantra, goal, positive thought, etc). You can do each section straight through, or skip around. The focus is on making positive changes, self care, social advocacy, and basically figuring out who you are and what makes you tick. Inspirational quotes from a variety of celebrities are spread throughout the book and offer a little extra encouragement. This would make a great gift for any young woman.

Lovely.

I love books that work creatively and help in the development of journals.

One of the plus points, in addition to clarify explanations and a clean art project, the book works with weekly ideas, which allows the buyer to feel free to do it whenever he wants instead of having to do something creative every day - and honestly , not every day we are in the mood or we have time to sit down and be creative.

I loved that it also deals with spirituality, a subject that was little discussed in my youth.

The graphic is very cute, I loved the color palettes and I was really looking forward to do the diary. I'm hoping to get an edit (or released in my country). I'll love to buy and customize in my way.

Thank you to Netgalley and Quarto Publishing Group - Rock Point for giving me an e-arc of this book in exchange of an honest review

<b>Review</b>
<span style="color: #000000;">I think I am the target audience of this journal because I am a teen. I like to keep a journal but I will be honest. I haven't kept a journal and maintained it for a year long. Although, I am interested in keeping a journal. Also, I am someone who would prefer to do it herself. I was looking for some ideas for a while so I gave this <em>"Create Your Me Movement"</em> a try. I did get some ideas too. And I also liked <em>Create Your Me Movement".</em></span>

This journal is incredible! I'm actually planning on buying it as a gift to my sister because it would be amazing if she completed it too :D

I think what I enjoyed the most about it was that instead of having daily topics, it's divided in weeks. I always struggle to maintain journals because if I miss a day I feel like I already <i>"fail"</i> so I just stop journaling all together but with this book it didn't matter if I forgot to write something in a day.

Moreover, it's super customizable because as I mentioned before since it's divided in weeks you can choose to write everything that comes to your mind one single day or just write a single idea every single day (that's why I did).

Also, the graphics are soo pretty, it makes you want to complete it just to be able to see those pages <3

I'm not giving it five stars because it isn't an actual book with a story but I still think it could be benefitial for teen girls out there since it helps you get in touch with your emotions and ideas, that at least for me aren't always clear.

I really liked the layout of this journal. While I do not think it has a permanent circulating place in the library this would make a fantastic gift for tweens and teens. I plan to purchase for the upcoming gift giving season!

As the mother of a 13 year old anorexic I read this with great hope. Being a teen girl has always been hard. There are new choices, new levels of awareness and mean girls. Create Your Me Movement takes a giant step in the right direction toward believing in yourself and your own abilities.

"Create Your ME Movement" is an excellent book for those looking to find sonething more out of life. This book works with four different levels of self the first is Play, the second is Spirituality, the third is Strength, and the fourth and final is Purpoae. Each of these levels are broken down by weeks. You can go as fast or as slow as you need to to make this book work for you. It is a great compliment to anyone trying to get their lives together.

I've always loved this type of journals and workbooks. Drawing, writing, and most importantly, expressing myself and learning more about myself, are what make writing creative journals so fun. This book provides 52 exercises, focused on four categories: Play, Spirit, Strength and Purpose. After doing some of the exercises, it did lead me to think further and deeper on my own opinions and future. Thumbs up for this perfect self-exploration journal for teenage girls.

A great workbook for people of all ages! It is separated into 4 sections, Play, Spirituality, Strength and Purpose. Each section has thirteen weeks of prompts/activities to do but you can do them in any order you don't have to go in the order that is listed. Also at the beginning of each section is a true/false page with a list of questions pertaining to each topic and how the reader/person who owns the workbook answers the questions can tell them a lot about what they might want to improve on or what sections might be more beneficial to start with.

I thought that the book, due to the fact that the first part of it centered more on our high school cliche's, will be another disappointment for me. Yes, the typical high school drama! But as the book progressed, it tackled more important element, more issues that needs to be resolved. A really good combination of amusement and insights, plus the diversity! I, no doubt, adored this wonderfully written book. I love the witty banters, the quirkiness of some of the characters.

Create Your Me Movement is a wonderful workbook which helps girls discover more things about themselves and the world around them. It is filled with activities and prompts for each week of the year. Through this book, you find tips to stay motivated, determined, and confident. This is such a great book to destress and to learn how to express your feelings while learning more about yourself. I would have loved to have this book while I was navigating through my teen years. This would be a great gift for teens, helping them find their self-identity and their self-values.

I loved this journal. While I'm not quite sure how it matched up with the social justice movement, I thought the questions were thoughtful and insightful. I love that it was peppered with quotes from a variety of women fr4om trendy pop stars to athletes. This would be something I would give my daughter or another teen girl in my life.

The beautifully adorned pages of the journal are inspiring and coordinate well with the journaling exercises. Young girls will be able to foster creativity, mindfulness, and a well-thought-out plan of action by completing these prompts. I have no doubt many young ladies in my life would love to receive a copy. It is especially important to show gals that they can do anything they set their minds to; and it is even better to gently guide them with resources such as these. Thank you!
