When her beloved aunt dies, pastry chef Stevie is given a once in a lifetime opportunity- to own her own tea shop. I really enjoyed this cute romantic comedy set in Wales from Lilac Mills and look forward to reading the next in the series.

This was a lovely read about new beginnings and about the power of bonds, that even inside a family, can still be forged stronger. TheTanglewood Tea Shop was like a warm hug on a crisp day. A small english town, tea, lovely people around. Exactly what a pick me up read means.

Wow! I kept putting this one off and i don't know why. But I am kicking myself for it. I just finished this book in two sittings. I am a true Hallmark movie fan and THIS was amazing. I couldn't help but root for Stevie and the success of Peggy's Tea Shop. The relationship twists were great. The characters were well written. It was a fun light read and I loved it! Thank you #netgalley for the advanced copy for my honest review #betterlatethannever

I remember being quite excited for this one because the plot looks extremely peculiar than usual. I was wonderimg how the author would pull off this kinda plot. However, half way through the book, I can no longer feeling attached to it. I think it is important for the reader to find the sense of attachment to the book, but I guess it did not able to reach me.

Regardless, you did well!

Just OK. I had a hard time getting into this book. Picked it pop and put it down many times. It has a cute story line, just not my favorite.

Thanks NetGalley for the ARC.

After Stevies aunt dies she is left with some cash. Well, her mother and sister want it too, so she digs out and buys a tea shop. I'm always hoping that books with food titles will be those delicious recipe novels, but alas, you can't have everything. There is a good amount of the expected, outsider welcomed by insiders, romance, a reckoning of nasty relatives. Prescriptive, and soothing.

Cute story about Stevie, a pastry chef, who inherits money from her beloved aunt, so she opens a tea shop that serves delicious desserts. Stevie’s mother and sister are less than thrilled with her good fortune. She moves from the big city of London to the small village of Tanglewood and makes some friends and enemies; and, of course, finds herself in love with a man named Nick. The two of them can’t seem to find the right words when they are around each other, so they are always awkward. The best part of the book was when Nick thought he saw a ghost. Nick and his sister, Tia, were such lovable characters. Author Lilac Mills wove together a great cast of characters that made this book fun and cute and left you feeling happy about love and friendships.

THE TANGLEWOOD TEA SHOP by Lilac Mills was a lovely romantic novel that I really enjoyed.

The author beautifully depicted the picturesque village of Tanglewood, the diverse characters and the romance between the two protagonists. The secondary characters added dimension to the solid plot and I really enjoyed following their stories as well. The pacing was fast which meant this was a quick read and I liked the fulfilling ending, The novel was absolutely worth reading and I will be looking out for some of the author's other books.

I highly recommend THE TANGLEWOOD TEA SHOP if this is your preferred genre.

I received a complimentary digital copy of this novel, at my own request, from Canelo via NetGalley. This review is my own unbiased opinion.
