This book has loads of really good recipes. I am looking forward to making some of the salads and the stews and the walnut and and banana cake looks delicious.

Some great recipes, with lots of nutrition information. Unfortunately I don’t have a pressure cooker, but if you’ve got one this is a great book. I must admit, though, I would have liked to have seen some photographs in there.

quick, yummy and fun recipes. Health for any kind of diet. Wish it had more images.

The premise of the book is great, recipes for the DASH diet that are lower in fat and sodium, but can be prepared in the Instant Pot. I was disappointed that there were no photos of finished dishes. Some of the recipes seemed quite similar, and I was unable to find, either in the chapters or in the table of contents, any of the recipes specifically mentioned in the book description. One good item was that each recipe seemed quite easy to follow, easy to make, and included detailed nutritional information.

This may have been specific to the reader program I was using, but recipes were not cleanly starting on new pages - one page would have a few sentences at the bottom and/or the top of a page with another recipe, and I found it hard to follow.

I received an advanced ebook in exchange for an honest review.

This is a great cookbook with heart healthy recipes. I like how the author breaks down foods that are high in potassium, magnesium and calcium. How to add flavor without using the salt shaker. Easy to follow recipes for your instant pot.

This cookbook is nice for beginner pressure cooker people like me. I recently got an instant pot and it was quite intimidating! I liked the full directions in this book! Some of the recipes I do think would end up being easier on the stove, BUT this book uses a multitude of modes for your instant pot so if you want a good feel for what your instant pot can do this is a good option! The recipes I tried so far were quite yummy and healthy which is a extra plus in my book. I did find that I wanted more options for things kids would enjoy though! So not as kid friendly as i would like personally, over all nice cookbook though!

Recipes are clear, straight forward to follow and the layout is simple but accessible.  Only real niggle was the lack of photography but the content makes up for it.

Wow! I’m so impressed with the recipes. Easy to follow directions & simple ingredients. I will be purchasing a Kindle copy once this is released.

Excellent recipes that are unique and nutritionallly packed.  Full nutritional information provided.  Recipes are balanced with whole grains and ample vegetables.

This book was amazing! The recipes are easy to follow, doesn't break your bank, yet provides utterly delicious meal that can feed the whole family. I love the fact that after each meal Nancy gives us the nutritional values and statistics of EACH meal. This is great in helping me know just what nutrition my kids are receiving. I absolutely love this book!

These are recipes that can ONLY be used with an Instant Pot or a pressure cooker!  I was surprised at how little time it takes to cook a meal - this book is perfect for working people! The author gives you lists of foods that are high in calcium, magnesium and potassium - but very low in salt!
You will enjoy making Greek pitas with pepperoncini, goat cheese, lentils and cucumbers, Chipolte and Pineapple Chicken Tortillas, Shredded Beef Po’Boys, and Cheesy Veggie Chowder with corn, cream cheese, potatoes, poblano peppers and cheddar cheese with easy-to-follow recipes and nutrition facts that allow you to count calories and see what you are eating.

It was an interesting book full of easy recipes, but my problem with new "cuisine stuff" is that I prefer pictures to go along with the ingredients and the preparations.

È un libro pieno di ricette interessanti e abbastanza facili, inoltre permette un maggior uso della pentola a pressione, che io ignoro quasi completamente, soltanto che come sempre mi accade con le ricette, preferirei anche le foto, quanto meno del piatto finito, se non posso averle di tutta la preparazione.

The Dash  Diet is all over the health news highly recommended by physicians.This cookbook has delicious easy to  follow recipes ,,A cookbook that teaches us what to make to keep us eating well feeling healthy.This is a cookbook Inwill be using again& again a large variety of delicious Newell thought out recipes,#netgalley # Quartobooks.

Starting off, the title is a play on words for a specific diet type called DASH! It stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. I had not idea this was even a thing until I got a hold of this book. But the introduction does an amazing job at explaining what you'll be getting out of this book in reference to this diet, in easy to understand words. We are taught some of the basics (low salt, high nutrients!) of the Dash diet and how we can use our handy-dandy pressure cookers (or Instant pots) to get healthy, easy, dinners that are not time consuming ('cause you and I both know that once we read that a recipe takes 3 hours of labor we usually decide on something else. XD)

After the Intro, the book has 7 chapters:

Chapter 1: Wraps, Sandwiches, and Tortillas
Chapter 2: Substantial Salads
Chapter 3: Soups, Chilis, Stews and Bowls
Chapter 4: Pasta and Egg Noodle Dinners
Chapter 5: Grain, Rice and Bean Dinners
Chapter 6: Protein and Vegetable Combos
Chapter 7: Fruits and Desserts

The one thing I noticed, which made me enjoy it even more, was that it didn't have a thousand crazy,hard-to-find, never-gonna-use-again herbs, spices, or ingredients. I personally have a decent sized her and spice cabinet, that covers a little more than basic. For someone whos' spice cabinet only contains salt, pepper and paprika, you MAY need to go shopping a bit, but really you should do that whether you buy this book or not. There was almost no fresh ingredients that I couldn't get at my local Walmart, 

Another cool thing about this book is that at the end of each recipe it lists the nutritional facts. Including calories. Which is helpful to anyone on any kind of diet.

So basically if you are someone who needs to be on the Dash diet, or even if you just realllly love your pressure cooker, this book is an awesome addition to your cookbook collection!

"The letters " D-A-S-H" stand for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension'...Recipes that adhere to the DASH Diet are created to help lower or control high blood pressure and cholesterol. They do this by emphasizing foods that are lower in sodium and rich in nutrients such as potassium, magnesium and calcium ".

All the recipes in this book adhere to the DASH Diet and include comprehensive nutritional data.

The recipes are fundamentally American, though with other influences e.g. Italian. They are often quite hearty but also delicious. I'm intrigued by the use of coffee granules to enhance the flavour of beef in stews.

Recipes are also designed for electric pressure cookers which drastically reduce the cooking time.. I have a stove top pressure cooker but am able to adapt the recipes by reducing the cooking times further to 4/5..

The organization of the book is exemplary with lists of recipes at the start of each chapter. There are no photographs of finished dishes however, an important factor for some.

Strongly recommended to those who wish to avoid heart disease.

I really like this cook book because it has a very varied mix of dishes and meals that are quick and easy to prepare. We all want to eat delicious food but don’t have the time to spend cooking so this book is ideal.
