Cecilia Ahern's voice instantly draws you into the story. This was an exciting insight into her new novel, following P.S I love you and I can't wait to read more. Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for letting me review this book.

I read this, forgetting it’s just a sampler...oh no! I want to know what happens next! I love it, it’s so good to read words written by the clever, perceptive Ms Ahern again.
I’ll definitely be buying the full book when it comes out!

I’d like to thank HarperCollins UK and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read a sampler of ‘Postscript’, the sequel to ‘PS, I Love You’ written by Cecelia Ahern, in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

When Holly’s husband dies seven years before he leaves surprise letters for her to read one a month, each letter signed ‘PS, I Love You’. Her sister Ciara persuades Holly to give a talk entitled ‘How To Talk About ….. Death’ and she’s persuaded to get involved in the ‘PS, I Love You Club’.

This sampler is a beautifully written short story which has left me wanting more. I love Cecelia Ahern’s style of writing and can’t wait for ’Postscript’ to be published so that I can read the whole story.

Returning to the world of Holly and Gerry is like putting on your favourite years old jumper. Although it's 15 years since PS I love you, within the first few sentences I was transported back into Holly's world. Her grief and strength so strongly evoked by Cecelia. I'm looking forward to reading the full book and learning what's next for Holly.

I was so excited when I found out that PS, I Love You was getting a sequel. I wasn’t sure what to expect from it after all these years but I can safely say this wasn’t it!

The writing and story, so far, has a same-but-different feeling and I loved it. It definitely gripped me from the beginning and I already have many questions and can’t wait to start gaining some answers. Looking forward to Holly’s return as she is a great character.

Very excited for the novel to be released and to read the entirety of the book!

Okay you've got me hooked! Can I have more please?

After having read the sampler I cannot wait to read more and find out how Holly's life develops 7 years after Gerry's death.

Reading about Ciara and Holly's webcast brought the book into recent times and it something that I could really picture happening in this day and age. Holly's reaction to a 'fanclub' emerging from her appearance on the webcast who call themselves the 'PS I love you club' had me so intrigued and I was desperate to find out what happens next .... and then the sampler ended!

I'm guessing lots of heartbreak, reemerging grief and difficulties with her new relationship. Whatever the journey brings us I really cannot wait to read 'Postscript' and add it to my Cecelia Ahern collection.

It's been a long time since I read PS. I Love You, but I remember loving it and not having a problem getting into it. I didn't enjoy this sampler, sorry to say. I found it a bit depressing if I'm honest.

I loved PS. I Love You and this teaser has made me very excited for the sequel. I was unsure how she could follow on from the first book, but its clear there is more story waiting for us postscript. Looking forward to the release in September.

I literally cannot wait until this book is released. The sampler was just too much of a tease! Just as I was getting settled down into the story, the sampler finished and I was left hanging as to what was going to happen next. I loved the first book, and absolutely cried my eyes through it. I didn't think anything would be able to mess with my emotions more than PS I Love You, but, this one has left me with tears in my eyes already. Roll on September!

As a huge fan of P.S. I Love You I couldn't wait for the sequel and this little taster is so promising! It's never easy to write a sequel to a huge hit, but Postscript sounds like another fantastic book. I can't wait to read it in full! Thank you to the publisher, the author and Netgalley for providing a sample in advance. #Postscript #NetGalley

Thank you NetGalley for a sampler of Postscript. Can't wait for this one, by the first four chapters, I can already tell it will be a good one!

She thought she's over Gerrry's death (as much as she can be), but seven years after his death, Holly finds herself on a strange path again that evokes her memories. Can she really put all of her experiences and feeling behind, or the lava of emotions will stumble her life all over again?

Counting days till September 19th to see the answer to this questions :)..

I loved PS. I love you. I remembering reading it a few years ago and bawling my eyes out so many times. I got so invested in Holly’s life and her journey back to life and to herself. While she found her real self thanks to Gerry’s letters at the end, I wanted more, I wanted to know if Holly was going to let herself love again.

Therefore I was so thrilled when I downloaded these few chapters of its sequel: Postscript. We find Holly again who seems to have found love again. But has she really and is she truly happy?

In this sequel we find again Cecelia Ahern’s beautiful and poetic writing style. In those few chapters you get invested very quickly and you can’t put the book down until you realise you are already at the end and all you can do is impatiently wait for the full book to release. I can’t wait to read the full book and see if Holly can finally be truly happy again.

Thank you NetGalley and Harper Collins for a sampler of Postscript. I can’t wait for this to be released.
Seven years have passed since Gerry’s death. Holly is now in a better place and is moving on with her life. She agrees to do a podcast for her sister Ciara in the vintage and second-hand shop that she has been working in with her sister for the last three years. The Podcast will be recorded in front of a live audience and the proceeds will go to charity. It’s one of a series of Magpie podcasts, this one called How to talk about death. Holly regrets that she is doing it. But brings back memories of her and Gerry and the letters.
After the podcast she receives an envelope from one of the regulars of the shop, which Holly thinks she is being stalked. So, she doesn’t open it. But now boyfriend Gabriel finds it after it has been stuffed on a bookshelf and finds a business card in the envelope and when she rings up the woman to tell her what she thinks of her, Holly is left reeling.
When I first started reading this sample, I was a bit miffed when I read the prologue. But as I read on, the writing is of Cecelia Aherns writing I have got to know and love. This will be another emotional rollercoaster of a ride and I can wait.

Although I only had a taster of this book I was totally gripped and cannot wait for it to be published! Cecelia Ahern has a way of just hooking you in and you don't want to stop reading.

Continuing the story of Holly 7 years after her world crumbled when her husband Gerry died. She is just starting to rebuild her life and move on when a customer in the clothes exchange shop hands her a not but Holly doesn't open it in time....

Oh I cannot wait to read all of this book!

I loved, loved, LOVED PS I Love You and here comes the sequel.

We rejoin Holly 7 years after the death of Gerry and all those lovely letters he left her to help her survive. Holly is in a relationship with Gabriel and they are talking about moving in together but Holly can't quite bring herself to put her house on the market. She does however, help her sister Ciara with a podcast on death where she talks about learning to live without Gerry. It's all very painful and that is why she gets upset with Angela who wants her to do more publicity around Gerry's death. Brushing off Angela's advances, Holly is determined that she wants to put her feelings about Gerry behind her, so when she receives a card from Angela for the PS I Love You club she snaps and phones Angela to tell her to let it go once and for all....except she can't speak to Angela, not today, not tomorrow, not ever again and now she feels guilty......

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for this preview chapter in exchange for an honest review!
