This is such a wonderful book. The pictures are really cute and it's filled with great information about how to care for the Earth. I read it to my niece and nephew and they loved it!

This book is full of simple, good information. It's a good place to start with descriptions of earth-friendly ideas that the kids can expand upon, if they are interested. I did have trouble with the wording in the book. The irregular rhyme scheme was really distracting since I never knew which two lines would rhyme. If the rhymes can't be smoothed out, it might be better to skip the rhyming altogether.

This is a great book to begin teaching the littlest ones about how to care for our planet. Going through every letter of the alphabet (which is an added plus for education) Christiane Engel gives children something small enough to understand about how they can make a difference in caring for the earth. It is bright and colorful. It also includes a glossary in the back for some of those bigger words like organic and pollution. This book is a beginner understanding at its finest. Kids can walk away from this book feeling empowered and smart.

ABC for Me: ABC Earth Friendly Me' is much more than a basic ABC book. It gives a description for each letters word. I can also see this being a perfect book for teachers or parents to plan lessons around. Each letter can easily be the focus for it's own lesson.
